I just buy those couplers from aliexpress for pennies. Well a little more than pennies, but much cheaper than $25. If you really want to be self sufficient, I can see a mini lathe (or build your own?) in your future too ;) But I really like your 3D printed couplers, very novel idea to use a composite 3D printed parts and glue them together for strength.

Very good video and as always, great thought process. Any chance you could post the coupler .stl files so a like minded builder/tinkerer could play with them and compare with our own work?

This is pretty off topic, but I remember you saying you don’t (at least currently) play any instruments. But just out of curiosity, have you played instruments/worked in music studios in the past? And what was it that got you into making speakers in the first place? I don’t think I’ve ever met an audiophile that wasn’t initially a musician, especially one with well-constructed listening room in his basement! I’d love to hear you elaborate further on this.

I've always been into audio and building speakers, but never did learn to play anything. I think most of "us" are that way, with actual musicians being a relative rarity.
