Kevin, what a divine dinner. And the fireside setting…how magical! Your home is just so inviting and warm. You are so gracious to invite us into your beautiful home. I’ve been feeling very sad lately, and this just warmed my chilly heart right up today. Thank you and God Bless you. You are such a sweet soul. Xx

Thanks for another recipe idea. This is the first I’ve heard of this dish. I mix my meat with disposable gloves too. With the pandemic, my store has been out of fresh chicken wings and turkey breast.

Greetings, I could not find Cannellini beans either. Vegetarian, so I seasoned the beans, Great Northern, as you seasoned* the meat mixture. * with a twist 😉 Cheers, Rachel 🍷

I grew up in the stone Rectory at the Episcopal Church in West Park. Our dinning room had French doors onto the river porch with a view of the Vanderbilt mansion. However, more than the view of the mansion, I loved the beautiful marble fire places. My father would make a fire and serve my brother and me hot chocolate when we came in from playing in the snow. Nothing beats dinner served by a fire !

This looks wonderful! I do a lot of Greek and Southern Italian cooking, and the Meyer lemons will soon be getting ripe here in the North Florida Panhandle. I know this will make an exceptional dinner!

Thank you Kevin. I use Shady Brook 99% lean ground turkey. The meat is white and cooks up similar to ground chicken. That is a lovely recipe. I might try it with a piquant lemon type sauce with capers. I enjoy foods with a dash of zest, but will try your recipe as it stands. I look forward to following your cooking channel. Bon appe'tit!

Also, a tip. If you have the meat grinding attachment on your Kitchenaid mixer all you need is boneless, skinless chicken breast. I turned chuck roast into ground chuck during the pandemic when I found the meat department workers being too lazy to put the ground stuff out. Also, it was less expensive.

Looks yummy 😋! I like the idea of lemon with ground chicken/turkey. I bought some "Euro-style" butter, but I couldn't really tell the difference! I'm going to give it another shot with shortbread as it's mostly butter.

Kevin, you can ground your own chicken in a food processor. It’s a snap! Buy boneless, skinless chicken breast and cut them into about 2 inch pieces. Pulse in the food processor for about 30 seconds. I add olive oil to the chicken after the pulsing is finished.
@kevinleejacobs13643 жыл бұрын

Nice recipe, never had it.. Funny bit about your local store. The one closest to me is poorly run, was before COVID and is even worse now. I have always stocked extra canned good for the winter. Childhood was in a very snowy area and often we could not get to the store. So, my mom always had extra canned goods.

I would too them on the plate with some thin strips of sweet roasted red peppers out of a jar, which is what I thought you did until the close up and you said spaghetti sauce. I'm certain that they were delicious!!

Italians usually add milk and eggs to our meatballs, especially when using ground chicken or turkey.
