The background hiss clearly present at 18:18, is the pedal itself that hissy or is it the connected gear? I'm asking because I recently got one and seem to have a lot of hiss coming from mine...

Hi, in firmware 338, I can't find presets delete function as at 10:00 . How can I delete presets in this version? Thanks in advance.
@TriPedalReviews3 ай бұрын
Go to Load Preset, which will bring up a list of presets. You can either search for the name of the preset you want to delete, or scroll through the list. Just make sure the preset you want to delete is visible on your screen. Then press and hold the trash can icon on the bottom right and tap the preset you want to delete.

Do you have a video that goes into more detail about footswitches? I was able to add a footswitch to a delay and have it work properly. But I tried to add a footswitch to a reverb and I can't get it to work no matter what I do with the settings. The reverb never shuts off. I set it to latching. I set the on level to 1.0, and the off level to 0.0, and the reverb is still on no matter whether the footswitch is on or off. Can someone help me with this? (As a side note: I sure wish the Beebo manual was a proper manual instead of just a feature index. I want to like this pedal, but there needs to be way more learning support for this thing! Just sayin'.)

Hi, Does anyone out there know how to restore factory patches on the poly beebo? For some reason mine just dumped some of the presets
@csrader3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for doing this. This is a wonderful piece of gear and the kind of video you're doing here is much needed. The "manual" for this thing is a dog's dinner. All good, I get it ("scruffy" DIY kit), but for $500+ ... ;-) Anyway, thanks to you I got my head around some basics. However, I'm trying to do what I believe would be one of the most basic things of all. Assign a footswitch to turn an effects module on or off. Note this is different from toggling the value (e.g., level) 0 to 1. For example, I might have a Level ("mix") set for a basic delay at .5 (50%). I don't want to change that when I activate or deactivate the delay module. But I can't seem to figure out how to do that. My instinct was to assign the ON/OFF button inside the module to a footswitch. But I don't see that as a choice. Also, can't press and hold the ON/OFF button and then press a footswitch. Again, the most basic function imaginable for a "pedal". So I'm clearly overlooking something. Sorry for the long message and gripe. Thank you!

I'll be doing follow up videos as I think they are helpful, learning as I go along so if I learn helpful things I'll do videos on them. I'd like to keep things organized so you don't have to sift through hours of crap to get to what you want (hence the time stamping) Basically I want these to be like a visual manual for people, they can just click and jump to sections.
@polypedals3 жыл бұрын
hold the module then press a foot switch :) Sorry about the manual quality... it is on page 8 of the manual, section called: toggle effects with foot switches.
@TriPedalReviews3 жыл бұрын
@@polypedals Nice, thank you. I was looking under the footswitch module sections. I'll include this in my next video. So easy once you know how.
@polypedals3 жыл бұрын
@@TriPedalReviews there's so many things that are a bit hidden! Sorry for that. You can also toggle different reverbs for example by having one turned off and one on and binding them you the same foot switch.

Hi, for the latching footswitch--> if i set this on a type of effect (e.g. chorus), will the footswitch work like a normal pedal footswitch (i.e. turning on and off). Thanks!

Hello again. Let's say i want to add a compressor before the delay just to make the signal louder, how do I do it? Input 1,2 to compressor, compressor to delay, delay to out 1,2. Thank you
@TriPedalReviews3 ай бұрын
You treat it just like a signal chain. Input --> Compressor --> Delay --> Output. If you're doing mono to stereo your input would be Input 1 and your outputs would be 1/3 or whatever outputs you are using. The delay block has a level, you can also use a VCA (Voltage Control Amplifier) to increase the volume.
@iosifkalpaktsoglou20453 ай бұрын
@@TriPedalReviews Thanks. I ll try it again. It ends up connecting it in parallel, not series.
@TriPedalReviews3 ай бұрын
@@iosifkalpaktsoglou2045 Correct, the way I described above would be parallel. If you wanted to do series on the delays you'd do Input --> Compressor --> Delay1 --> Delay 2 --> Output(s)
@iosifkalpaktsoglou20453 ай бұрын
@TriPedalReviews the delay I I used as an example. I want to add a compressor or something to make granular louder( clouds by Mutable instruments) . I want to add it before it in series not parallel.

Thank you so much for doing this!!! They should give you a free pedal! I haven’t had the time to delve into this pedal deeply yet. Also I was starting to wonder if my pedal was faulty as I was getting a noticeable hiss noise on the delay and chorus settings and I could hear it on yours too... 6:32 and 6:59 maybe that’s just how it is.. Is everybody getting that hiss or is there a fix?

You just unplug it :) Just don't do that while updating the firmware.

I’m new to the Beebo and I’m running output 1 & 3 to two different amps. When I bypass the Beebo I no longer get sound from my left amp. Is their a fix for this? Thanks for your tutorial and your help.
@kisteffkik1533 жыл бұрын
Which input do you use? If you bypass the pedal, input 1 goes to output 1, input 2 to output 2, and so on. So if you only use input 1 only output 1 gives you the signal.
