I'm from Myanmar but when Malaysian said they are famous for government. Yo guys, this video should’ve been the *prequel* to the last few! Here you asked the girls to guess nationalities, but we already knew them from the other videos. That ruined the whole watchalong experience NGL. 😞 That being said, this was a tough group even for Southeast Asians. The girls from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore are all of Chinese descent, so you can’t really tell by look alone. Genesia caught the Manglish/Singlish accent, but I guess she second guessed herself. She really nailed detecting Stefanie’s accent, which wouldn’t have noticed myself. But it’s so funny how Genesia was being so sure about the Vietnamese girl. Guess she has some Vietnamese besties! Good job for everyone who played! 👏

It's really hard for them to tell those Asians apart because they all have Chinese genetics in them in varying degrees. If they did any Asian studies in college they would know that Chinese people were always in search of a better life and they migrated everywhere there are economic opportunities in the last 800 yrs. It was very common for Chinese migrants to marry into the local population which resulted in the addition of their genetics into the local mix and the results are what we see today.

I think that is the mindset of many people who do not understand much about geography. Know that most of them only considered East Asian like Chinese, Japanese, Korean and South East Asian like Indonesian, Malaysian, and Singaporean as Asian. Actually Asia is big, from Turkey to Indonesia that is how big Asia is. I see West Asians/ Middle Eastern as Asians, like Assyrian, Kurds, Arabs, Jews, Aramean, Iranian, and Maronite. Central Asian like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Krgystan and even Afghanistan also Asian. South Asian like India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka are Asian too.. All of us are Asian
