@@reddest-x that's just cos ur adding fat and fat is a slow release of energy. U might as well make sure ur breakfast has some fat and u can get it from unsaturated sources whichll (for most diets) be healthier and release energy slower but if u like the taste of butter in your coffee specifically you might as well do it. But like overall most diets are fine so something like that doesn't matter too much the important thing is you eat something in the morning and try to get enough protein and vitamins and whatever other nutrients people are commonly deficient in in your diet and stuff

Just want to point out that “well-done steak” in Monster Hunter is actually a long standing mistranslation- the Japanese is supposedly more like “cooked good steak” meaning “a steak that is tasty and cooked perfectly” and not specifically “well done”, meaning the opposite of rare. They kept the “well done” naming in the English versions from the first one forward despite it technically being wrong. Who knows why! Anyway, my point is: you could’ve just made steaks to your own preference the whole time, instead of making grey beef slabs

The way exercise is commonly presented and approached makes it unpleasant but when we can pick activities that are engaging and enjoyable for us, do what's accessible to us and work our way up in comfortable intensity, it's a whole different thing! Some things I've benefited from myself are: - Physically active pastimes that are also social (with friends or local groups) and pleasant (like walks, nature, dance, yoga, LARP, volunteering). - Avoiding exercise that's just Exercise™ or has reps. - Googling exercise/fitness for chronic fatigue/chronic pain/seniors (may seem extreme or silly for someone who doesn't have these problems but these communities just have great resources and great understanding of the human mind and body). - Hybrid Calisthenics who does great short vids outlining accessible ways to work out and increase intensity only as appropriate.

yeah that's exactly what i was thinking, i dont have a psychology degree but im glad someone who does agrees, although i imagine there could be some correlation to wearing certain clothes that you associate with stamina also giving you more stamina in a placebo effect, like maybe wearing your workout clothes makes you have more stamina then wearing normal clothes and doing the same workout. But definitely in the case of the mask and shield it was more about the variety/novelty/silliness of it all, and also I think there was an element of challenge introduced by wearing the costume pieces in trying to do tasks while still wearing them, which i think is motivating under the right circumstances

It's a nice feeling though. Long term it stops being as much of a painful experience. I mean, unless you just endlessly increase the difficulty and length of your exercise sessions.
