I just discovered Polyphia a few days ago, and this was the first song I heard by them. It took me at least five listens to realize that it *isn't* an 808 with acoustic drums layered on top like I thought; the Clays are just that clean and synced that the drum and bass blend perfectly and complement each other perfectly. I don't think I've ever heard anything like that before... these guys are geniuses at their craft.

0:49 far gone are the days where you get a music video and you know behind the scenes the band was all "Dude quit hogging the flat iron!"

definitely give Tim's unplugged version of this a watch, impressive stuff vs the music vid. Gives me arthritis just watching.

They’re massively talented, but why do I feel like this song didn’t have an ending? It sort of meandered there towards the end. It felt like taking a swig of the best iced coffee on a hot day and then going back for another drink of it, not knowing it was all gone. If that makes any sense.

It does, I don’t know what I expected in first listen but after a few spins it’s got me hooked
@xnafu2 жыл бұрын
it waa kind of following that lo-fi genre where its just a vibe- no ending cause it represents that the feeling doesnt end
@EetYajKundorp2 жыл бұрын
@@Roguenjosh That’s fair. I should give it a few more spins.

@@xnafu Interesting - I’d never thought to relate it to lo-fi. I’ll keep that in my mind as I re-listen to it. Thanks!
