Amazing trip. I lost my dad to cancer, but I still have very fond memories of him taking me fishing when I was little, and then me taking him fishing when I got my boat. Cherish those days guys because when they are gone they are gone.

I recently found the two of you and I absolutely adore the both of you. Originally I'm born and raised in South Philly, moved to Florida 12 years ago. My husband is born and raised here in Florida. Neither one of us have ever been to The Keys. I told my husband I want to go to The Keys he told me that we can not afford The Keys. So, I just will live through the two of you. Oh, and yes he took me fishing a few years back. I love it! I can not get enough fishing. We do own a boat. We fish in the rivers and lakes. But I loved salt water fishing. If you ever get the chance, you should try fishing the "Lump" out of Venice, LA. It's an underwater salt dome in about 2-3000 ft of water, but the dome is about 600 ft down. During Lump season, late Nov-Feb, the Gulf current hits the dome, causing some crazy currents underneath and brings in a lot of bait fish, followed by the larger predators. You anchor in 600 ft, chum behind the boat, and drift chunks of bait, typically black fin or some other fish and if the Tuna gods smile upon you, it'll be a trip not to forget. My biggest was 115 lb yellow fin, followed by a 65 lb. After that, I didn't want to catch anything bigger, it took about 20 min to get the bigger tuna in. I would post a pic of our haul that day, but can't do it on KZbin. Nice vid!

I used to work on Andros Island as a civilian for the US Navy that had deep water ranges and I would fish all the time, you were taking of how the sharks would come after fish in distress. I went diving one day near the reef and saw school after school of tuna and the Barracuda went to town on them, that's the fist time I've ever seen a Cuda in action underwater, I surfaced real quick because the blood starting flowing in the current near me so I didn't want to be in the wrong place.

Thanks for the thrill. Im 74 and my bride is 78....My boat is a 1977 Pacemaker. We made it to Palm Beach Gardens in Feb of 2020 and then the quarantine. We're from Chesapeake Bsy Country and if all goes well next Spring...headed for 1,000 Islands then Canada. Maybe Fla, Dry Tortugas & Bahamas in 2022?
