The beautiful yellow caught my eye when I was scrolling through my feed! They are such a cheerful brightness! Made me think of wild flowers like buttercups and dandelions. (Both flowers I love). I would love to see them on a cornflower blue background ... the colour of the summer sky here in Western Australia. TFS. 🌹Rosie of Oz 🇦🇺

Beautiful yellow and gray card. Who knew gray could be so lovely? I hated it living in the Midwest. 😖 Cloudy all the time. Since I am now living in the SW, we have lots of sunshine and gray doesn’t look so dingy anymore. 😎😎 Love all your creativeness, and your beautiful nails. 💅🏻

So I was having a bit of a crap day when I saw that you had uploaded a video. I thought great. I love Kelly's videos. I put the kettle on and made myself a nice hot cup of coffee. Grabbed a dark chocolate oaty bar. I sat down and settled in for over 15 minutes of down time, just listening to you chat while you craft. I hit play. Took my first mouthful of that glorious caffeinated goodness, followed by a bite of my chocolatey treat. And then I smelt it. My little chihuahua had eaten some of my hair and was trailing her crap, which was attached to the hair that was still attached to her, right towards me. See, the piece of poo that was chasing her was scaring her half to death. So instead of settling in for 15+ minutes of Kelly, I got 1 minute of Kelly and then had to pause to chase a chihuahua who was being chased by her own poo. Good times. I did eventually sit to watch the rest and I love the card!

I enjoy watching you color and listening to you chat. I do this as soon as I get up in the morning, while having my coffee. It’s just the best beginning of the day 😍. I do have a question for you this morning. I was coloring yesterday- I used masks and stamped the nail polish bottles like you did in a previous video and they turned out so pretty!! But then, I used my Tonic clear glitter pen. The stuff wasn’t coming out good, so off to the side, I gave it a squeeze and then picked it up with the pen and proceeded to cover the polish color with it. Well, it got way too concentrated in some areas so it ruined my coloring. So, I’m just wondering how you deal with this pen? To me, I don’t think the glimmer or glitter comes out well, unless I give it a squeeze- which could be a disaster, as happened in this instance. I was just practicing, but still, it had turned out so pretty and then I ruined it 😩

If I don't have Score Tape would it work with adhering a piece of craft foam to the back? Or would it cut through the foam too? Love this card Kelly!
@KellyTaylorCards6 жыл бұрын
My big shot cuts through the foam too so you'd have to see if your die cutting machine does too.

As always I love your cards!! I recently got this stamp set & I am working on a card with it using Zigs. I don't have Copics, I do have many of the specium noirs... are the tips on copics finer( the brush tip)?
@KellyTaylorCards6 жыл бұрын
denise stine honestly, when I bought my spectrum not they had the bullet nib and I didn't like them enough to invest in changing them out for the brush nib so I have no idea.

I love the colors of this card. You do such beautiful work! I’ve just started using Copics and don’t have too hard a time if the object is round, like flowers but you give me a box shape to color and YIKES 😳 Do you have any suggestions?
@KellyTaylorCards6 жыл бұрын
Gayle Sanders Thank you! can you give me an example of a stamp you have tried to shade? Because how I would approach it depends on what the image is.
@gaylesanders9366 жыл бұрын
I’m not really coloring stamped images but ones I’m copying from the internet and coloring or trying to color. I’m having trouble with clothing on kids as I don’t know if I should be putting my darkest color on the sides and shading in or around the top of the garment and shading down. On cars do you shade from the bottom up or on the ends and toward the center since they have rounded edges. I admire the way you color and thought I’d like to do it the way you do but don’t have enough experience with Copics to do so. I’m sorry I’m so vague but thought I’d get images from the internet to practice on. Maybe I should stick with flowers, they seem so much easier. 😊
@KellyTaylorCards6 жыл бұрын
It all depends on your light source. the easiest light source to color to front center. This is where you would add shading to both the left and right hand sides.
@gaylesanders9366 жыл бұрын
On a car or truck stamp would you do the same for the whole vehicle? Thank you so much for your tips and your time. I appreciate your teaching skills and all your beautiful cards and ideas. Have a great day!
