I have just made granny squares with all my mom's and my scrapes for my our grand daughter. I have not learned how to put them to together. I hope by watching your you tube video will help me to do that. It looks very easy. I made granny squares last year for my step daughter but did not like the way it looked when I began putting them together. So she never got it for Christmas. I hope to join them together the way you showed. Hopefully I can and she will get it this Christmas. Thanks for making it seem so easy.

When I was joining the popcorn stitch I found it easier if I put my finger in the loop to hold it and then when I went to attach the stitches together I just put the hook under my finger, that way I wouldn't loose the loop.

So, I watched this video, and then I also watched your "Granny Square Hat Crochet Tutorial" and in your hat tutorial, you commented that the hat was a bit squarish when you finished...but what if you started it with the flower bit, and then just kept up with the roundness, and so the flower is the central "pompom" and then on with the round granny hat.

This is so gorgeous, thanks for sharing it with us, one question I want to do one blanket but I dont how many blocks I have to do, plz help me
@CrochetwithClare10 жыл бұрын
Hello Sorry for the slow reply, I have been away for 8 weeks dealing with family health issues, including my own Depending on the size you need it... I would make 1 square and then figure out how wide and long you want your blanket and then divide your measurement by how much your square is and that will give you how many you need for your length, do the same for the width and then multiply those numbers together Hope that helps

I am working on this afghan and my flowers are bending in half, i used size I which is recommended for my yarn.. I thought it would level out after I added the granny square but it doubles in half too.. What am I doing wrong? I am on my 2nd flower and mine don't look as big as yours are. My flowers are 4 inches around.
