I've always hated granny squares because they are so redundant. But I was searching for a bag to crochet to carry my crochet when going to my doctor. I found someone talking about your bag, so I switched over and watched. I've never been so happy crocheting granny squares in my life of 60 years of crocheting. I followed along with you with the same colors, and I'm going to your bag, and follow you. Thank you for the video. You are great. I'll post when it's completed. I'm happy!!!

I have watched quite a few youtube videos on the granny square; this one is by far the best...excellent camera work shows your beautiful workmanship. I also love how you finish off your ends as you go along.

You make me smile every time to say you hate sewing in ends, cuz I do too!

Perfectly clear explanations! When I first learned to crochet, the hardest part was not the stitches themselves, but where to place your hook. Some other videos were lacking a little in that department, but not yours. I'm sorry I didn't have your videos when I was learning. Thanks again, and I always recommend your videos to my beginner crochet friends.

I love your video tutorials, you are an amazing teacher! I never got the granny square until I watched your tutorial, I have now made 2 of them (hardly an expert, but they actually look like they're supposed to!!) and I'll be trying this one next, so I'm watching it a first time without doing it at the same time and will then watch and follow. I'm so happy right now, because I wanted to "get it" so bad as I wanna help a friend who is doing a blanket to auction for epilepsy awareness. Thx so much

I have and will continue to do so! I am new to crocheting and watched lots of videos that were inconsistent. I have shared your video with other people that also want to start crocheting. I am making an afghan from this pattern and to date have crocheted 30 "Not So Square Granny" squares. I want to be a lifelong crocheter, (although I'm starting a bit late in life) and create beautiful things for my family and friends. I've posted them on my FB page and have gotten a lot of compliments. Keep up the great work! It is a big help for all us newbies.
