Popeyes is always hit or miss no matter where you are on the planet. Had it just the other day and asked for all dark on a dinner. Every time it depends on who is working. Once before the person was like no, the next guided me without having to ask, the last told me I had to pay more and still sold me the wrong order. 3 different visits and completely different experiences.

Me and my husband really liked this sandwich. I felt that they could have chosen a better cheese selection. The havarti cheese was too bland tasting and didn’t add any additional flavor profile to the sandwich. Great review as usual!

Hmmm...I like your perspective. I haven't actually tried it yet, but I thought Havarti (although a great cheese, maybe for a charcuterie selection) was an odd choice. Maybe a spicy or smoked cheddar? Also, this sandwich is giving me Arby's vibes; the OG gourmet chicken sandwich, the Chicken Bacon 'n Swiss. That was a good sandwich, and love their food...I'm probably biased as Arby's was my first job in High School! 😉

I promise you, Daym - when you get a location that does this proper, you will be a VERY happy person. Like you told me before, your product is only as good as the location. When we dropped our review last week, I went through a whole range of emotions too. Their app was busted, the drive thru was broke, had to go stand in line INSIDE for 30 minutes for them to forget my cheese and bacon. Filmed half the review, went BACK in because it was wrong - got two new sandwiches and even though one of them I wanted non-spicy, they messed that up again...but it was all worth it in the end. I know you'll try this again, playa. 😎🤘

The Kaiser - cook bacon flat and crispy, cut down to the width of a slice of bread, overlap two layers in small skillet (fried baloney or thin fried spam may be substituted), add beaten mixture of eggs, chives, rosemary, leftover bacon (crumbled), salt & pepper, after flipping put a teaspoon of tzatziki sauce, fresh spinach or mustard greens, slice of Swiss cheese in the center and fold edges over to make a bread-sized square, brush the top with remaining egg mix, flip again to seal, place between toast with mayo or guacamole spread

Literally tried it yesterday I was so excited. I ordered a classic and a spicy one. The lady at the drive through had an attitude INSTANT🚩🚩🚩 needless to say the effed my order up. I tried the classic first. I like how the cheese complemented the chicken but I could barely taste the bacon I feel like it wasn’t flavorful and the strips weren’t big enough but overall I liked the sandwich. I ordered the spicy to compare them and because I like spicy stuff. Tell me why they gave me a BLACKENED one. I WAS PISSED. I could tell that the way that cheese complemented the filet it would have been a hit when paired with that spicy mayo. Bruh see that’s the thing about Popeyes the food good but the service is terrible. I had been looking forward to that spicy bacon and cheese sandwich all damn day. The mission was failed, they didn’t understand the assignment.

I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich with bacon n cheese. Really liked the blackened flavoring. It had a lotta bacon , well done n crunchy. Columbus Georgia Popeyes dies it right. Only complaint was the Cajun fries. Really didn’t have much flavor. Should of went back for the rice n beans. But really enjoyed the sandwich. Get it blackened!

This is the main reason why Chick-fil-A outplaces Popeye's for me . Pop's food is great when its cooked properly, but unfortunately they're just too inconsistent. Chi-fil-A on the other hand gets it right every time. They don't miss and their customer service is unmatched. Last time I had Popeye's, not only was the food dry and cold..they tried to give me an ice tea WITHOUT ice and had the nerve to look at me sideways when I asked for some ice. Haven't been back in almost 2 years.
