I scored the “HONE” corded 15mm DA on cyber Monday. Today I brought a wet-sanded hood from dull to mirror with this tool and was very impressed. Good ergonomics, plenty of torque, and has a lockable trigger. For $68, I replaced my 6 year-old (and failed) Porter Cable XP with something that was cheaper, yet far better overall. I’ll get the Shine Mate EX620/15 next year when money ain’t that funny. Oh, and I got a 14oz tin of Collinite Fleetwax for $16!

Scott, My Popoman buffer has worked great ever since I purchased it through your affiliate link. I have used it on about 10 cars over the last year and I love the convenience of it. I purchased three batteries so it lets me do a whole car without having to recharge. Even though the convenience is great it’s still not as smooth and comfortable as my higher end corded buffers

Outstanding! I agree - it works well, but not perfect!

I use my as home user maybe 8 -10 hours per year so fine if dies in 8 years. Love the breakdown of the polisher and if your buying another one to use in the shop that is good enough for me. When will you have the big polisher shoot out with the other detailers giving their feedback ? Thanks for honest and hard work.

As fast as the brand names keep changing I'm surprised they don't offer a lifetime warranty

Lake Country HDO pads seem to be the top end for me. They run the smoothest (vibration) last a pretty decent amount of time, and because of the design (same as Rupes) they allow the machine to not stall out as often. I use them on every machine type and they work the same.

We've been using a combination of Lake Country and "Buff N Shine" pads lately. Less on the RUPES that we used to heavily use.

I'm still afraid to buy this product for the simple reason that I can't seem to find 4.0Ah replacement batteries sold anywhere. I'd want 2 batteries for this polisher from day 1.

@@ScottHD Thanks much Scott! I guess I was looking for a green ALEAPOW 4.0Ah battery. These Chinese are determined to confuse their customers. Amazon won't ship that battery to Hawaii, but they will ship the entire polisher kit that has the same battery in it. Go figure.

That oblong clip totally is the reason . I bet it was sideways and turned into the gear Try replacing that clip with a round clip that doesn’t have a shape that could obstruct the gear and see what happens
@ScottHD Жыл бұрын
I agree 100%... design flaw if you'd call it that?

All you have to do is when you remove that black cover on the front of it you push that button down
