Looks good! I'm going to start pulling some small dents on my truck soon. One thing I would do if I were you is not let that glue stay on the vehicle long at all. I have seen them peel it right off or add a little denatured alcohol, Isopropyl alcohol works good also, get the 91 0/0 and it evaporates faster and it's cheap. It actually looks like fun, so I'm anxious for my tools to get here. I see a lot of people talking about the paint, it only works on factory paint, even then you don't want get too close to a chipped area unless you plan on touching up.

You removed most of the original dent but made 2 additional dents with the puller pads. Most videos say take your time and do numerous pulls.

You are supposed to put the glue on the pad then place the pad on the car.

@@testerjunkies2394 You can get the glue to come off buy using 91% rubbing alcohol. just put the alcohol around the glue and wait 30 seconds and it will peel off.

This tool is seriously cool,the dent I was removing had been on the vehicle for a long time and I never expected it to budge,The tool came with 5 different size tabs to accommodate different size dents, and a main bridge piece that is easy to attach by turning the handle. It also came with a pouch for storage of all the parts when not in use.The tool was easy to use even for a novice like myself and did pull out the majority of the dent, which was pretty deep. Is it cheaper than using professional shop equipment? By far, even if I ordered a single kit for each of individual dent on my van, I still would spend only about $100, when compared to the cost of all the other tools needed to pull a dent the old fashioned shop way I am savings a bunch of money.

Nice job, anyway did you realise from 3.46 onward the handles both side pushing in your car body might make it even worse, my heart almost drop when you keep turn in till it drop.

AS an alternative to expensive PDR tools it isn't bad. The Gliston Bridge dent puller is great for occasional use on shallow dents. It works fine but the flex doesn't instill a lot of confidence so don't expect it to pull out deep or hard dents. I recommend watching this video to familiarize yourself with the process as there are no instruction provided in this kit... it assumes you know what to do. One tip is to remove the PDR hot melt from painted surfaces with denatured alcohol... just a few drops will make the glue fall right off.

I didn't know about the denatured alcohol, thanks! We got all the glue off, but used a dish scrubber, soap and water. Thanks for the tip, I will definitely do that next time.

The instructions said to let the glue dry for 3-5 minutes. Mine didnt hold so I increased it to 10 minutes. It still didnt hold so I increased it to 15 minutes and it still didnt hold. What am I doing wrong?

Looks like the feet of the unit left dents? The plastic style bridge is not as forgiving as the floating metal style bridge.

I bought this gadget to pull a ding out of my stainless steel sink. It didn't work after 6 attempts. The glue is very difficult to remove from the pads or the object it gets stuck on. Glad you had better luck.

Acetone or methyl hydrate will also remove hot glue but don't get the methyl on your skin. The problem with glue pullers is you should only use them on original paint as they will pull repaint or older paint. Also they may pull to far and you will have to tap down the high spots.

I didn't know about the acetone, thanks! I wasn't aware of methyl hydrate either but after reading that it's possible to absorb toxic level through the skin, I will just avoid that one.

it did not on our van, I would suggest you try it first if you are worried on a small patch in a more hidden spot, like under the back bumper or front bumper.

That takes a little work, warm air will help loosen it. I haven't tried this, but I bet a hair dryer would be the easiest. Damn, I should have tried that.

WARNING IF USING THE HEAT GUN If you plan on using the hot glue gun, be careful. Yesterday I worked with it plugged into the normal 230V home electric socket for less than an hour and it casually EXPLODED in my hand. Luckily I didn't get burned (I just had a black stain on my hand were the end of the gun was), but when the cable exploded, it got ripped off the case while the other end was still plugged into the electric socket, so I was milimeters away from being electrocuted. I can't reach the manufacturer, so you will probably see me under various videos warning others. Stay safe

This thing seems to work for some only. In my experience all this has done has left hot glue on the rear left quarter of my car. I'm just trying to make it look nice and it's destroying it. I'm giving it one more try with some help from a friend before I toss it. I've done everything according to the instructions.

Don't worry, hot glue is not going to destroy your car. It comes off. Take your time. Make sure the little plastic puller is firmly set before pulling. For removing the hot glue, try rubbing alcohol, it should come off relatively easy.

Do not use these tools for removing dents on lacquer car paint, it will remove the top coat.
