Smh to the people commenting "how do people find this hard?" I think the core audience of this channel is people who are mathematically inclined, forgetting that a lot of people, a lot of high schoolers, dont understand some fundamentals as well as other people. And this channel is here to help those people, not critique them. And to that, i say, how exciting

@annanay0072 ай бұрын
Well It also depends upon how seriously do you take studying. Like in India it is very rare that you can even survive without studying so they teach this to us in grade 6 and 7 (students are not even in highschool at that time) while in ur country it is quite simple to get a job without prior knowledge so studying is not a very serious topic for you. Also you guys focus on memory more that analysis. Like think of it, you have the general form of quadratic eqn and quadratic formula on the tip of your tongue, but do you know how did we deduce that formula from the general eqn

I started by moving the (1 - x)/2 to the other side. A trick is that -(a - b) = (b - a). So I had 2x/(3pi) = (x - 1)/2, then I cross-multiplied.

A tip for students taking the SAT: just put the entire equation into desmos. You'll get a coordinate answer of (1.73736, 0), or x = 1.73736, which is the same thing as x = (3pi)/(3pi - 4).

could you not simplify 3pi/3pi - 4 into -4?
@superubergoober2 ай бұрын
no. consider this: lets say we have 3/(3-4) doing this normally, we get -3. but if we cancel the threes, we instead get 1/-3. hopefully my math doesnt suck after not having used it for three years
@kunpai97812 ай бұрын
@@superubergoober yeah, you can't simplify things if they're added or subtracted (in this case of course, not in general). for example if it was 3pi/3pi * 4, then yeah you could simplify it and get 1/4. but not on this case since this is subtraction
@stefanblandin2 ай бұрын
Easiest way to figure that out is to plug it into a calculator. They won't match, because you unfortunately can't simplify the denominator like that.

It’s a standardized test used for college/university admissions, along with the ACT. Some schools are becoming test-optional, and some don’t even take it anymore. I think SAT used to stand for Scholastic Aptitude Test, but they stopped calling it that but kept the acronym as the name of the exam.

My way of solution ▶ 2x/(3π) + (1-x)/2 = 0 by multiplying both sides with 2*3π, we get: 4x+ (1-x)*3π= 0 4x + 3π - 3πx=0 4x-3πx + 3π=0 x(4-3π) = - 3π x= -3π/(4-3π) ⇒ x= 3π/(3π-4)
