Marc and Chris killing it with this interview. Marc's website was my introduction to woodworking and introduced me to the world of fine woodworking. Five years since this interview, KZbin has played a HUGE role on my ability to learn woodworking. Shortly after discovering Marc, I heard about Chris from friends who have read Anarchist Design. I just bought Campaign Furniture and his videos on hand tools have been critical in my understanding and use of hand planes, which I ended up loving more and more. Keep up the good work you guys!

I am one of those new homeowners whose gone from zero to moderately proficient amateur. I have learned a ton from your videos. Just tackled my first dovetails as part of a gift I'm making friends and fam for the holidays. I felt I should comment as you essentially summed me up there. Thanks for what you do, have a good one.

Major influences: the original This Old House with Bob Vila on PBS, Home Time with Dean Johnson, and then my favorite, The New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abram. Demystified general carpentry, woodworking, and furniture design and construction. Made the average woodworker more familiar with the use of individual tools and techniques.

Tuli D. Imagine a field of study that you have a keen interest in and knowledge of, apparently that field is not woodworking, and then imagine one of the most knowledgeable experts in that field that people with no knowledge of that field would not know. Now imagine that expert makes a video and posts it on KZbin. Later someone with no knowledge of that field, watches that video and posts a comment that says the expert is an unprofessional idiot. That is what you did.
