Use the porcelain touchup paint that is sold in Home Depot about 7 bucks kind of like nail polish work pretty well lasts a long time between touchups, because nothing last forever.

Both the original video and this follow-up are very clear and informative. Question - my tub has rust spots, not a physical chip. Should I first treat the area with a rust converter before the Porc-A-Fix? EDIT: I just discovered that the answer is Yes, according to the Porc-A-Fix's manufacturer website. They recommend their product, Corrode-A-Fix, if there is rust present in the damage area.

I can’t answer based on ever putting this product over rust, but my experience with rust is that it is very difficult to cover. I would definitely try a rust stopping product over the rust, and then using the Porc-A-Fix over it. Thanks for watching and good luck with the repair. Let us know how it works out. Thanks.

Probably would work, but then it still needs to be painted. Just well use the paint with the filler material.
