A mother singing to a lost child...it's just exquisite. Steven is always at his finest song-making level when its melancholy and tragic. "Stop Swimming", "Drive Home", The entirely of Hand. Cannot. Erase really.

Can we just appreciate or TALK A LITTLE MORE about Richard Barbieri and Colin Edwin for contributing their magic to PT's sounscape all along ? Songs like 'Sound of muzak' and 'Mellotron Scratch' wouldn't have been the same without them ! 🥳❤🎹🎵🎼 🎸

What’s most striking, in my opinion, is how a studio masterpiece like ‘Lazarus’ that is subtle and yet profound, simple and yet intricate, can come across so PERFECTLY in a live setting with just 5 musicians - even to the point of being BETTER than the studio version. Simply incredible.

As the cheerless towns pass my window I can see a washed out moon through the fog And then a voice inside my head Breaks the analogue And says "Follow me down to the valley below You know Moonlight is bleeding From out of your soul" I survived against the will Of my twisted folk But in the deafness of my world The silence broke And said Follow me down to the valley below You know Moonlight is bleeding From out of your soul Follow me down to the valley below You know Moonlight is bleeding From out of your soul My David don't you worry This cold world is not for you So rest your head upon me I have strength to carry you Ghosts of the twenties rising Golden summers just holding you Follow me down to the valley below You know Moonlight is bleeding From out of your soul Follow me down to the valley below You know Moonlight is bleeding From out of your soul Come to us Lazarus It's time for you to go

i always feel sad at the last part when the song goes: come to us lazarus, its time for you to go. Generally I mute that part because I am not that strong may be. How music tune brings out that exact feel what the lyrics want us to feel is an amazing thing and these people create that means they all are extra ordinary
