moods is gradually changing, he orders all of his friends into another room, closes the door, he sits alone on a wooden floor, visible only by the dim light shining from the bathroom. He talks to himself. The time is now 1 am, unable to snap his fingers and terminate the trip, which continues. He sobs, as his joy turns to fear.rocky journey ended 12 hours after it had so innocently begun, he was shattered by it.

I've seen PT twice in concert. Steven is always barefoot. He had a little throw rug down to walk on both times I saw him. :)

One of the only times when PT sound better on record than live, i think. This record should be listened to, not looked at.

@Myretartedpet So you noticed that too! :D First time I heard Another brick part 1, the opening riff, I heard Voyage. I wonder if Steven did that on purpose....

So, tell me in this song.. a part of it.. a riff or anywhere.. where do I begin to understand the meaning of the phrase "out-of-bodily experience"? is there a bad part that simply gets you back to your body or it simply flies you away, takes you to a trip... I love you, PT! Really love you

The riff played throughout the song sound almost exactly the same as the one played throughout another brick in the wall
@stratkar14 жыл бұрын
@TFFgeek he said it may seem like another brick in the wall but he is actually inspired by another song, some ethnic music i think

Nahomi González the answer you seek lies within
@paulgraves13927 жыл бұрын
Nahomi González Steven has said that this song was a blatant attempt to cash in on the ambient music genre of the very early 90s. Given that the early PT was a parody of prog it is unlikely that it was actually based on any real experiences with drugs. I actually spoke with Steven about this song when he toured Australia last year. What he had to say about it with the recording being 25 years old he longer saw himself in it.

pINK FLOYD COVER ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL PART2 COVER?ORIGINAL IS MUCH BETTER
@sajidur19939 жыл бұрын
Oleg Balbukov The bass line 'might' sound the same in some points, but this is entirely a different song, and Steven is of course capable of making such epic pieces. The sound quality sucks here, so try listening to the original track.
