I mean ... these cars are in different performance and money classes. The GT3 is literally a homolgated GT race car with livability enough to enjoy on a road (barely). The LT is a mega-powered supercar with track capability (but get ready for the cost of tracking it, which will be eye-watering). The GT2 RS would be a better comparison with the LT.

To me the GT3RS, you can be a non car enthusiast hop in and be a “track star” and it’s a terrible date car lol The 675LT is daily drivable and requires attention to be used at full capacity, MORE for the car enthusiast to extract the real fun! And your date can get in and out with reasonable effort lol Ones a track car the other can track, be faster and usable for casual driving. 675LT>GT3RS PS: the GT3RS is still fun AF to drive, it’s just too easy

GT3 RS is the better option. Naturally aspirated flat six with a redline of 9,000RPMs. Porsche’s are as reliable as you can get in a supercar. They will carve through a track or road like no other. Plus, it can easily be daily driven. The 675LT looks very outdated now compared to a 720S or 765LT. That lower end of the front bumper doesn’t help it at all. The P1 is older and still looks better (but obviously it’s a hypercar compared to these supercars).

I never see McLarens on the tracks around here. Why not? They are not built for the rigors of regular track use. One weekend can shred their brake system. More breakdowns with much higher repair costs. The front wheel and tire clearance doesn’t allow for wide enough tires - GT3RS takes the McLaren in corners. For road use, the McLaren is better looking, accelerates quicker, has the amazing spider/convertible roof, etc. I see more Lamborghini’s and Ferraris than McLarens on the track.
@hyena83852 ай бұрын
Hmm agree with certain parts (definitely the narrow tyres) but not 100% of it. The point about not seeing them however is just simply a game of numbers. McLarens are just MUCH rarer for a start, even the regular maccas let alone the track specials, which would be a large chuck of the explanation. Think about it - they have had essentially 3x1 year production runs for each LT series body type. Whereas the other manufacturers have had years of them. The least rare track specia Macca is the 600lt coupe which I have seen, not regularly but definitely not to the point of being an enigma. To my point a so called ultra rare Porsche like the GT3RS, If you total the numbers of them it's multiple times the number of 600lts. As for 675s and 765s, well its a bit like not seeing a GT2RS except once in a blue moon. They are track beasts, but given their values would people track them often enough to really spot them regularly? Nope. For the same reason I bet you don't see many 458 speciale apertas. Again I've focused on track specials which actually helps your argument, because if you want to include all manner of Porsches and maccas then that numbers game goes up much much more to support my point.
