@eastwest1362 2 hours ago Had this configuration a few years back - but didn’t take it further due to several realisations: Deformation of ring gear at higher RPM, high internal friction due to number of gears in the arrangement, method of controlling CR cumbersome, reburn of exhaust gases caused NOx pollutants to surge, still short of 2-stroke power densities. My latest patent will be a step change…..

Right so there an extra combustion cycle . 1 where dose the new fuel air mixture come from and also the burnt gas in the bore where do they go after the first combustion ?
@matthiasgro3280Ай бұрын
I think it was not explained completely right, there should be extra ports in the cylinder wall which only open up for the second compression stroke..
@ashjbs88Ай бұрын
Ports that go where? in to the water jacket ?
@kishka9886Ай бұрын
Scavenger ports at the bottom of the cylinder and go out the exhaust valve with a double point cam. There is 1 longer stroke that allows the scavenger port to open. It's not new tech it's all reasonable but I'd say this would be a high torque lower RPM engine with a turbo or supercharger.

Sounds like BS trickery. Lets face it; any type of ICE engine burns fuel one time. At best 25% efficiency. The rest turned into heat loss. No regen. Battery materials can be recycled for a minimum of 2 Centuries. (only 5% material loss per cycle) And what about all those expensive moving parts that are hard to work on?

@matthiasgro3280Ай бұрын
..well in a normal internal combustion engine you'll never get 100% of the injected burned. There will always be something left and with a six stroke engine, this could be "reburned" in a second combustion stroke.
@trappedsolАй бұрын
@@matthiasgro3280 no i agree, the science makes sense, i get that. But mechanically speaking, i see a lot of issues. Hell ford STILL cant make a decent rear end to save their lives. 🤣 And then imagining the timing of the cylinders, which strokes do the next cylinders fire on the first combustion? After the first cylinders combustion or on the 2nd? Is the 2nd combustion as strong as the first? Oh the vibration. Are misfire codes gonna be split now? P0301.5? Lmao
