One of Porsche design centres first products from 1972, it could have been designed today nearly 50 years on, its an instant classic IMO. I only just learned that it inspired the Pasadena a grail watch from a specialist Swiss watch maker Heuer. Somehow I never considered Porsche design as inspirational beyond their legendary sports cars, in fact I thought Porsche design was just a fad company conceived in the last 20 years. Their influence and history has reached much further than I imagined.

This is not a Mario, it’s not an Orfina on the dial It is pronounced POR SHA. Two syllables! Topgun watch had “1 mile” on the rehaut not Tachymeter

i guess that the dan henry remake of this watch is not good. its no porsche quality. urban gentry has a interesting video on it called "Why I'm Disappointed With The Best $350 Chronograph: Dan Henry 1972 Maverick AKA My Top Gun Watch"

It’s only because his had a broken movement. He had it repaired and back on his wrist courtesy of Dan Henry within a week or so. I have the Dan Henry Maverick, and it’s a fantastic piece ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
