It's time to wash my clean cars again! Today I talk about the design of my new house that I'm building. I also dabble into the detail about the final steps of my current house (No HOA talk!). I've gotten more dry ice, you'll see some more interesting video on this! Watch me fumble along with trying to plug the GT3RS tire (The most expensive and newest tires I own..). I talk about testing the AR pressure washer more long term at my house and custom in house manufacturing. I also talk about detailing products like drying aid.

Run, don't walk, and get yourself the OG Mosmatic gun setup. I am still using the original Mosmatic gun setup which I bought from OG in 2017. I use it every wash and it has been completely faultless and really changed the experience of washing/detailing my car. Thank you to Matt for bringing this to the market for us enthusiasts.

To anyone still holding out on the OG Mosmatic gun, pause this video and order one right now. I had a MTM SGS-28 that worked for 2.5 years and it worked great but once you get this setup, you’ll never look back. The trigger is solid and the swivel is seamless. Definitely worth the price.

@@jrose7381 It did not break. I had the opportunity to try the OG Mosmatic gun and decided to purchase one to compare against the MTM gun. The MTM gun is a great entry level gun with a swiveling connector, but the OG Mosmatic gun is a noticeable upgrade.

The SGS28 came about because Mike and Rob at Veloci and I made it happen. The SGS is decent, but the Mosmatic is amazing.

I originally had an SG28 and it started leaking in the trigger, I purchased an SGS28 as a replacement before the current mosmatic existed. the SGS28 is really good, but the current mosmatic is better, truly if I never owned the mosmatic I would probably have been happy with the SGS28. Differences that I noticed: - The trigger feels more "crisp" than the MTM, not sure how to explain it, but the hinge and valve feel tighter and better to use... Like going from driving a Chrysler to driving something from Germany.. it just feels like the tolerances are higher and the manufacturing is more precise - The quick connects are way better, the sound, the action, the precision is just on another level. I realize you can buy these separately, but youre a high percentage of the way to the cost of the mosmatic - last, the swivel is way way way smoother and easier to spin, especially under pressure. The swivel on the MTM "exists" but its more of a manual way to unwind your hose if it bunches up, because it requires you to actually manually spin it. The mosmatic because it turns so easily happens more naturally and you dont have to intervene as much manually. Again, the MTM SGS28 is a good gun, its what I bought for my father, I keep one on hand as a spare, if I never owned or touched the mosmatic I would have been content with the sgs28... but having owned them both, the mosmatic is on another level.

@@jrose7381 Yes. I liked the MTM a lot, before trying the mosmatic. Now that I have the mosmatic, I dont like the MTM as much. I used the MTM for a year with zero issues.

My experience with the OG drying aid has been that it works very well in warmer temps, but in weather below roughly 70ºF, it becomes very sticky when it hits the paint and becomes streaky and difficult to work with (to the point where you have to spray the car down again after drying and agitate.) Maybe that's the case with all SiO2-based drying aids, but I thought it should be noted as the weather turns cold up here in the NE. In warmer temps however, it's very satisfying to use on a coated car.

I’m liking Phil’s 007 Gloss Enhancer Ceramic Detailer + Spray Sealant. Currently builder a home so don’t have access to my leaf blower, so spray on the Detailer while wet and towel dry. Will be needing and ordering your Mosmatic OG Spec and EGO Stubby Nozzle in February 2022.

I'm currently using 2 oz of carpro reload 2 oz ECH2O 28 distilled water. Works great and gloss is amazing.

Also Gtechniq quick detailer works very well as drying aid! Just does not look at nice as Carpro! However the Gtechniq QD is much much easygoing on the wipe off!!

Hey Matt, I'm looking forward to buying the OG Spec Mosmatic Gun and Wand but I am unsure which nozzle and orifice to buy. I have a gas pressure washer that is rated at 2700PSI at 2.3 GPM.

Unfortunate to hear you disliked the gyeon ceramic detailer. I've also heard some GTECH users say this. I know I personally have the opposite effect, it's hyper slick and held up amazing on my road trip 5000km testing. However I'm in the West coast Canadian climate so heat and humidity could play a factor for you in Florida. Regardless, it's still good to hear others opinions. I look forward to getting my hands on the new updated OG spec sprayer and wand combo👍

@@Ministeroffresh There is validity to your assertions on compatibility. I have two aids that work good with one coating but not as well with 845. P&S works well with everything after the third application. Haven't tried the OG yet. And glass coatings is whole other issue.

Do some research with your loan rep for recommendations. I secured my builder from a local 'home show'. They were promoting high-end technics and design innovations. Just let them know upfront why you are looking for a certain type of builder. It's your money.

Are you finding that your driveway blacktop is starting to stain because of all the soap/cleaning agents you're using? Do you do or use anything we don't see? Mine is a mess. Have tried degreasers, housewash, and ready to blast it with Krud Cutter. Oh yeah... your car looks great too!

@@ObsessedGarage why no PPF? These cars are magnets for stone chips. Thursday I got my confirmed slot for my first ever new purchase Porsches the 718 GT4RS. A spur of the moment decision made from the fact it’s a completely new model never before made, and from possibly defining an end of an era. Next cars will be hybrids, before all electric. Although I enjoy my daily, a Taycan 4S, I’m not ready to roll in my love for combustion engines, and the GT4RS might very well be my forever car alongside my 964 and 993.

@@Nord_Mann Matt has stated this car won't see alot of highway and interstate use. Plus, PPF is protecting it for the 'next guy'. I can't stand PPF after about two years. The edges attract black crud and need maintenance. I can't speak for every application, just my experience.
