Good demo mate, thanks. Been thinking about a heater for the van, this gives me something to consider. Not too expensive either.

I bought a more expensive American one. Similar all-in-one setup. Put it in the campervan an its been a game changer. So good.

I reckon it will work find in the van...it runs on a thermostat, so there is no problem with overheating. I reckon you can fit it in behind the front passenger seat, exhaust piped through under the vehicle or into the engine bay, and yes as Norman commented, get a CO meter or detector, whether you mount it inside or out.

Cheers Ben . I don’t think I would put in either of my vans as it’s way too big . Been using in my shed at night though and it’s been good for that . Thanks for watching mate 👍🍻

@@EFFICIENTSELF Using it in the garage/shed is such a good idea! I think you are in QLD, so that's understandable that you consider it too big...if you were freezing I think your tune will change. :)

Just checked the link - now they are $143 - looked a little more an can see you can get them for $113, so you have to search.

Thinking to get one of this, but not sure the noises it's produces might make other campers angry?

All depends on how far away you camped from them. If they are right next to you on a crowded campsite tgey might get upset . Thanks for watching 👍🍻

Hi Dino, are you sure that you just need to pipe the exhaust outside? The permanent installation requires that the combustion chamber air intake is also run outside (so theres NO chance of diesel fumes getting into the van?) How loud is the little pump, normally sound insulated and mounted under the van, but still people complain that the clicking is noisy. Don't forget to use a Co detector. Great presentation, especially the electrical load details. Thanks and good luck.

Hi Norman . I will have to look into it as few questioned me on my diesel heater install in my caravan in my early days video that ‘why I didn’t draw the air from inside the van’ I been using this mostly in my garage at night when it’s chilly. I don’t think I would install this in van as it’s way too big for it . Thanks for watching 👍🍻

Have seen these before mate always been keen on one for the shed. Does it use much diesel? Litre an hour? Or less? Hope you haven’t been working too hard up there mate. Cheers legend

G’day mick one of these will be ideal for you down in vic . Really good on diesel uses around 350ml per hour on high so probably would get 3 nights usage to the tank of around 5 litres . I have been going well thanks mate and been enjoying the cooler weather here now . Hope all has been well with you and your family mate . Take care 👍🍻

Extremally flimsy built. not good for off roading at all. Are other kits on eBay that you need to mount yourself. Yes lots of people stealing gear if you leave it all out. My cameras that run 24/7 on my car and trailer tend to deter them. I think we will stay with our electric blanker :). Good vide. I was looking at one for camping. Thanks to you're video, I am not looking anymore. 😉👍

Cheers mate . I think I will also just stick to my electric blanket when cold as I think the heater will be way too big for the mitzsy or hiace . I will use it for the shed at night. Hope you and sigi are well and keeping warm in the colder weather . I’m sure your wood heater would be cranking 👍🍻
