Is it weird that 2:05 is my favorite part of the song, don't get me wrong, i think the track is amazing, but on my first listen the second verse really caught me off guard with that change of tone, getting angry when faced with the fact that the past we/he loves is only to be remembered now, and the drums that rise along with it, it's just so beautiful man

dude... same... it's kind of a toss up between the second half of the chorus and this part, but i fw this part heavy, it conveys alot of my bottled up emotions because me and a friend of mine had a different pov and means on how to tackle grief over losing our best friend, he lost to depression 3 months ago and the way we cope are different, he couldn't look back at anything about him and avoid any convo about it and I'm just being nostalgic about our late best friend. i haven't talk to him for so long now, i genuinely believe he's afraid that I'd talk about our late best friend but in reality i wouldn't, knowing how he couldn't handle it. so yeah that's abt it and sorry for trauma dumping 😅
