Sam, of all the reviews I’ve watched and read, you gave the most concise, most thorough, and most pertinent info. All your reference points added to the overall picture and allowed me to gauge what I would like or dislike about the bag as well as how the bag would fit on my frame. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I feel like a lot of people spend a good bit of time giving dimensions, and they don’t really help me. They are also easy to access from the website. I try to give info that would have been helpful for me to make the decision to buy, and I’m glad that you found it helpful!

I started using this bag all this week as my go to even with some toddler stuff and I can’t get over how much I have enjoyed it. I felt so bad because weather has been insane and its been a work horse

I love my PLG large tote in nutmeg. The smell, the feel, the pebbling-I could go on for days!

I think Nutmeg is the perfect shade of warm brown. I’m hoping for some smaller pieces in it as well. It’s gorgeous.

I love Portland leather goods. I’ve had a few of their bags , in nutmeg mostly. I’ve had this backpack for about 8 months and I love it too. I have a few dune in my cart waiting patiently. Thanks for sharing.

I absolutely LOVE Portland Leather Goods. I have a couple of their bags and I adore their "Almost Perfect" discounts. I am never gentle with my bags and I actually love the way leather bags look when they're 'used' so I always try to take advantage of their discounted bags when I can. I had thought about this bag but wondered if it would be too small for me but I think I may have to get one now. I have been trying to decide which bag I was going to do in the black...

Ok you convinced me. I love totes but find purses in general too uncomfortable on my shoulder. So I always use a backpack. I was looking for a nice leather bag that would develop a lovely patina. Hi Sam! I didn’t see that you had a review of the bucket backpack. They have a gorgeous lagoon one available. Do you think the bucket backpack is big enough to hold a personal rings, a slim bifold wallet and a couple of sidekicks?

I do have a review of it with some other bags I believe. I love the bucket backpack, and have it in Lagoon! It fits my personal rings and a wallet, another pouch, keys, AirPods case. I’m not sure if you could get all that and two sidekicks in, but definitely one.

I’ve personally not had issues with rain. One day I tossed my tote in a plastic bag when it was pouring but it was really coming down.

I would toss it in the main compartment if needed, but I honestly have so many texts and alerts that I usually just stick it in my back pocket.

Hi Sam! I love watching your videos! I tried Portland Leather Goods after watching this video. I got a black leather makeup bag for myself for Christmas and really liked it so I ordered the backpack. I got it in the pebbled leather cold brew color. I absolutely love everything about it except it does smell really strong. Did you do anything to help your purse smell better or did it just go away with time?

The Nutmeg is like that too. After maybe 3 days, every Nutmeg has aired out. It didn’t keep me from using it, but the scent was definitely strong! I haven’t had that happen with the lighter colors or black.

I really love the looks of this!! Do you have to worry about upkeep much at all? I’m debating as most bags I have are washable, but these are really grabbing my eye!

I think that leather bags last longer, and look nice for so long compared to washable bags. I don’t like for my bags to look “worn” or scuffed, which is why I chose the pebbled leathers from PLG. I think if you worry about scuffing them up, they are your best bet.

From an Etsy store, but when I looked to see if they were still available, they were not in the shop anymore. If you search macrame keychain, you should be able to find one similar.
