It’s so tragic that these MULTIMILLIONAIRES are losing their GATED oceanfront properties. I think we should take up a collection for them!

No taxpayer bailout for these wealthy residents who foolishly and knowingly built/bought on unstable land!

I’m unsure what the resident who reported “feeling abandoned” is asking for? It seems a massive effort has been ongoing in an attempt to remedy the land movement issues. It’s quite possible a concrete solution does not exist at this time unfortunately

Yes I found that odd too.

These MILLIONAIRES are demanding a handout for their SEASIDE MANSIONS when most working class people in this State are barely able to feed their families. Horrible!

That’s what you get for building houses that you shouldn’t be! 😂

Make a plan Create a household emergency plan that includes your pets and considers the needs of everyone in your household. Also, have an evacuation plan and a family communications plan. Prepare a kit Put together an emergency kit with supplies you can use right away. Learn the risks Find out how often landslides have occurred in your area, and when they are most likely to happen. Be aware of warning signs Look for signs like rushing water, mud, unusual sounds, or a faint rumbling sound. Stay informed Sign up for your community's warning system and stay informed about weather conditions. Avoid risky areas Don't build near steep slopes, drainage ways, or natural erosion valleys. If you live in an area at risk, get a ground assessment of your property. Protect your property Install retaining walls, build channels, or plant ground cover on slopes. You can also consult a professional for advice on preventative measures. Evacuate if necessary If you suspect imminent danger, evacuate immediately. If you can't escape, curl into a ball and protect your head. After a landslide, listen to authorities to find out if it's safe to return.

If you watch other videos that detail how much it is costing the city to operate those dewatering wells, you quickly figure out that the city will not be able to sustain that effort, financially-speaking. Then what?
