Very good recipe Angela. My mother used to make different soups to and try to include leftover items like chourico, chicken etc and I do the same. Now for that rude person who left a rude msg that this isn't portuguese, shame is on you..a true portuguese person would know that soup was made with all the ingredients that you used without a few modernized ones that you added, like you said this is my way. 😊

Hi Angela great soup it really hits the spot in the winter. Just letting you know that l told my mother if she remembered your grandmother and aunt and she was so happy to hear about it , she did know your family she even said that my grandfather would go into your grandfather’s store and that there was the store of called madeira store too. Do you know about that store ? My parents came to Canada in 1959 and l and my siblings were born in Montreal, Quebec. Anyways it’s a small world isn’t it. Love your channel so glad l found it. what does it have that doesn't make it Portuguese? I always take a recipe and make it my own also.
