We are very modest people and that shows in our foods. This is a good and a bad thing of course. Amelia's point about the fats/oil is also true. It’s a rooftop that is located on top of Lumiar hotel. It’s a bit pricey but the view and everything is amazing

ah I live in the country of croissants but nothing beats a portuguese croissant... the problem with french pastries is that they are beautiful but taste like beuurrkkk !!!!! Yeah aesthetics is important but taste even more, french patisserie for example is an illusion and I'm always decieved by it. Sorry for the french around here !

Amazing vlog, including a history lesson. Love how Joen pretends to be drinking beers, G and Ts and wines throughout the day (he must be pouring them in plant pots while off camera). Feel like I've had a great meal just watching this

I like your sunglasses Joen. What brand are they and model ? :)
@joenandamalie5 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Ricardo. They are from Thom Browne. I bought them in Olhar de Prata at Avenida de Liberdade in Lisbon. www.mrporter.com/en-pt/mens/product/thom_browne/round-frame-metal-sunglasses/1096532?ppv=2 - this is the model, but I paid 865€. Don't know why they are much more expensive on Mr Porter, but I don't know the model name.
