​@@RamKumar-pe7hp they did that in one place it was too narrow to construct,ao they bought jouse on both side of the road demolished the road and made it big for metro to go. Slowly as other cities develop people will go to their hometown. And chennai will be normal.

The progress is depressing. No way this stretch is going to open in 2026 or even 2027. 2028 if the pace picks up from now. Otherwise that itself is doubtful.

We have huge man-power shortage as on 2024 Diwali. Contractors finding it difficult to bring the labour's back to chennai construction site from their native . They didnt turned up for last 2 months. Now they are hiring new labours. And hindu news article officially said, It is going to b very challenging to complete ponamalle - porur stretch by 2025 dec as per agreed deadline. So this porur to powerhouse will b completed only by 2027 end. Inum station construction foundation kuda start panala. Hw is it possible by 2026 mid.
