Love the instruction! Looking for a video that explains maintaining side bend and shoulder movement from start to finish. With the hip bump it can get a little confusing, in my eyes.

Awesome video! I have a question. On impact, do you prefer to keep club face facing target or closing club face (swinging door) at impact?

Thanks Austin, not sure what you mean. But thank you for you comment and support!

My coach has me getting the hands and arms more infront of the chest and above the shoulder at the top Any other vids you have on this
@PorzakGolf2 жыл бұрын
There are always exceptions, we really like the left arm on the shoulder plane because it signifies a connected handpath and also decreases the chances of a steep transtion. Someone with higher hands will need to feel a more deliberate drop of the hands from the top of backswing which can bring more timing into play. Many great players have been in that positon though! Thanks for watching!

Love watching your videos very informative . I suffer with a cupped left wrist at impact and just can’t seem to get rid of hit . I hit the ball a good distance but I hate the look of my swing .
@PorzakGolf3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mark! A breakdown of the wrist at impact is usually the result of improper sequence and disconnection in the golf swing. One of our favorite drills to work on impact conditions is the slot go! Here is a link below instagram.com/p/B-_OLffFeyw/?igshid=1bbzq6v7ix6dq We also have a fantastic online lesson program that has proven to get great results! If you want to dive a little deeper into your swing check out the info at www.porzakgolf.com/online-lessons/

When I try to get low or for lack of better words (squat), my brain reacts and makes me think I'm going to dig the club in the ground. And my subconscious makes me stand up... It works when I do a practice swing , but when the ball gets there, subconscious kicks in and my thoughts are, I'm gonna dig this club in the ground.... Anything to help?

Wouldn’t trying to hit the ball at 5 o’clock promote an over the top swing?
@PorzakGolf3 жыл бұрын
Hey, with the right sequence you can start the swing from any position and get through the ball properly. Wish I could explain more, then through text. Adam has many players do this from time to time. Thanks for the comment and watching!

I have been at this a LONG time. Yours is the best instruction on KZbin by far. Set up and position one fixed and I am bombing it in my 60's. The amount of detailed information you share for free and your method is spot on and much appreciated. I would not be polite to nor care what any jackass says about talking too much. It is obvious you are pleased and excited to teach and see that the young man makes progress. Your positive attitude is infectious. KEEP TALKING sir. I would respectfully submit anyone who does not love this content go watch Malaska or Venetos or Lines. They will be back and learn to be quiet and listen. Please tell the young man and his father wearing a mask outdoors is nonsensical unless one or both are immunocompromized in some way or just want to hide their faces.
