This was a pretty funny interview. David Lin had a hard time understanding that a contrarian is contrary. Jason's value is that it makes you think out of your box. I especial like the reason why he didn't start indexing, "because I am stupid". Humble, honest and a philosopher. There is plenty of theater in the market forums. Jason isn't part of that.

This video made it clear. You are a market wizard. You have a fully formed and clear philosophy… your own approach to markets. An inspiration that you have found that.

Great guest. Love his direct, no non-sense approach.

Jason is the only straight shooter I have seen on KZbin regarding the markets. Most are wrong or dishonest.

David wanted big calls, and forecasts for the market, instead he got a professional trader who follows risk management, and his procedure, not a influence r, trying to shill his own trading strategies. best interview David lin has had. hopefully when i have been in the markets as long as Jason my psychology is as good as his

Two of my favorites, Jason and David. I think what David is good at is listening to his guests. Many other interviewers only ask their prewritten questions, which dont make an exchange of ideas or go deeper in the guests mindset. David can come up with interesting follow up questions on the spot. And Jason what a straighshooter!

Hey Jason! I thought this interview was very insightful and to the point. This being said, in the video you mentioned that what you’re looking for as a reversal signal in yields is when good economic data no longer causes the yields to rise. What is your opinion on the recent non farms number being a candidate for that signal? We saw the yields shoot back down after those numbers were released.

These people (interviewers) refuse to believe that Jason’s process really is that simple. What’s uncommon is the patience and commitment needed to stick with it to avoid making these market calls based on emotion - he could really answer each question with “I have no idea, I just stick to my process and trade what it tells me”

@TexianTraderDude i risked 1 percent per trade in 2022 my first year trading and just focused on two setups, trading breakouts and reversals in the OTC market and took my account from 5k to 11k, even tho we had very few setups like 1-4 a month that worked, and i still didn’t trade perfect, took way to many “bored trades” that were lackluster setups because i felt like i needed to trade and i still did very well % wise despite some of my bad habits. Just proves the point though if focus on a certain niche, and spend your time on one or two setups that fit your style and personality and don’t try to trade every strategy/system out there you can really simplify trading and master a strategy. Because the secret is they all do and don’t work. It just depends on the person trading them. The amount of time you’ve spent studying looking at charts/ back tracking, different cycles of the market you’ve gone through, and hot sectors, the more time you spend learning a setup and trading it the better your discretion and intuitiveness about the market conditions, and setups with them will be. Happy trading📈📉🏦

Thank you for your brilliant service, Jason. Part of me wants you to stop talking about this so often, but another part also wants to give people that have critical thinking to get this great chance to improve

You mention that you see things as pretty neutral right now. Do you ever use situations like that to put on nondirectional or so-called neutral trades? Such as a short strangle on one of the futures?

Raw data via CFTC directly, Barchart and Fin Viz offer free COT charts. The best ones are from Jason himself via his own reports
