Hi Rachel, Isn't it just amazing how we, as humans, try to figure out what is already ordained? In Psalm 139 it tells us that our heavenly Father knew all of our days before there was yet one of them. That is such an amazingly beautiful thought! And, you were surrounded with favor as with a shield and your sweet son was born at home with no trauma, noise, glaring lights, etc. ect. ect.! Just amazing. I'm so glad your channel popped up on my home page. And, I'm so blessed to hear your testimony! You're a precious Proverbs 31 young woman!! Blessings from Alabama ♥♥♥

Thanks for watching! There are so many negative stories related to birth--I wanted to share a positive one. :) I was thankful to find a midwife 15 minutes away from me.

Yay, glad he's finally here and thriving!!! Also glad your homebirth was such a positive experience. Im in the same boat with fast births...My 5th child was born in the hospital parking lot, so we don't even bother setting up the birth tub. 😂. Thanks for the update! Love your channel ❤

Your comment made me laugh out loud!! I think it's hilarious when I tell people that my baby was born at home and they respond with: "was that the plan?" 🤣 Thanks for watching!

Could you consider sharing the books you read in the show notes? It is indeed empowering to birth a baby so smoothly and to just be at home the whole time 🎉😊 but it does take some mental preparation for the mental effort to believe that your body can do this!

I am working on a video compiling my resources and processes. :) Home birth requires a lot of preparation, but I enjoyed stepping up and taking more responsibility for my birth.

We really should be friends 😂 I found you with fresh milled flour a while ago, but just watched a few vids this morning. We have so much in common. I had 2 medicated hospital births followed by a home birth. And my 3rd was 8lb 3oz too! (She’s 13 months now) But she was my biggest 😂 Blessings to you all!

I’m shocked that you were able to give birth without your knees being shoved up to your ears. Without several nurses at your side screaming push push push push push push push. Without someone counting without the doctor cutting you and telling you what to do. Without someone rushing over and cutting the umbilical cord and grabbing your baby and rubbing all the Vernick off of it. While he screams. it just doesn’t seem possible. It’s incredible, it’s almost as though nature knows what to do. Even though we’re just dumb human beings somehow and impossible as it may seem your body gave birth just like any other animal in nature. Is it possible God knows what he’s doing? That he gave us the gift to birth our children like every other creature on this planet? This was a beautiful story I know I’m being facetious. It actually brought tears to my eyes. I am a nurse, and a birth Doula. And it amazes me that women cheat themselves of the experience. It’s a right of passage that every woman has the God-given right to experience. My daughter is also a birth Doula. I was gifted with the opportunity to watch three out of four of her children be born, the last of which was a homebirth. Just beautiful!
