Had my gallbladder out the week before Christmas. But I knew it had to come out 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving delayed it then my son's birthday. Then the week I was supposed to have surgery I got sick so the postponed it to the next week. 🙄

I woke up one morning and ended up in the hospital for a month. Told them I was leaving if they didn't let me out. Mine was gangrene and gallstones. I was close to death. Haven't been the same since.

I'm just a viewer but I've spent a lot of time at Mercy with my husband who passed away Oct. 7th. If I had just known I would have been there with you. Being alone in a hospital is very scary. So glad you have healed from the surgery. I've had my gallbladder removed also. You won't even know it's gone. God bless!!

Hi MamaV 🌻 That was intense! You think you have a cold & reflux, find out you're in serious distress & need immediate surgery! Gosh! You didn't even have an overnight bag with toiletries or an extra set of clothes. But, it all worked out because Father God was Caring for you the entire time. He sure sent lots of love, prayers & helpers to your side. I've had 11 surgeries in the hospital. Most of those, I was alone. It's hard. I'm sorry you went through that. And, going home alone can be scary too. You feel pretty vulnerable & weak after an experience like that. Plus, it always takes me about 3 weeks to process the anesthesia & drugs which cause emotional ups & downs. I'm so happy you have recovered enough to do what you want how you want. God Bless You 💖 candace

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry for what you've gone through. I've been wanting to move to land for a long time now but like you, I'm older and single and always wondered what would happen to me if there was a medical emergency. Did you have to call 911 on yourself? Hope you're doing well now ❤💙💜

I am blessed to have a smart watch for instances like that but this time I drove myself to the local ER in the middle of the night in a borrowed vehicle, they sent me by ambulance to the larger hospital when they figured out what was going on.

Glad you're well and recovering, being by oneself can scary 😨 and believe me I totally know the feeling 😉 in May 2022 l had a mild heart attack and I was by myself in the middle of the night it was after 3:00 couldn't get a hold of no one had to drive myself to the hospital it wasn't easy but now I'm fully recovered I'm doing much better and I know you will recover just as well just learn to take care of yourself and not overdo it...all the best to you love a recent subscriber

I'm so glad that's behind you now. You could still have problems with acid reflux. I had to have a liver b/x, then my gallbladder removed probably around 20 years ago. I had acid reflux before and after surgery. Do you have any digestive problems now? Take care! X's &
