even the most hard core guilds do not have 100% attendance so having 5 sub people works perfect, and 20 man onyxia is actually easier because you can actually manage the recovery of the boss

Yeah but the hardcore guilds have tons of people wanting to be part of a awesome guild. In Dad guilds however... a little harder to sell the sub positions.

minor speed to boots is 225 stonetalon mountains for horde; nothing hard except small radiant shards. that requires Ilvl 40+ gear to disenchant(which most is like 35+ dungeons to complete) and if you notice all the +hit oils/flasks etc is usable only in BFD

I did notice that and its probably a good idea. But they might just have it locked there in the beginning so they can monitor the buffs. They could decide to open them up or maybe they will only be allowed in the new raids. Or maybe since they probably use low level ingreients maybe they just wanted you to use higher level reagents to make them later. It's exciting thinking about the future!

I think ICC has much better difficulty than Ulduar, and Ulduar difficulty is much better than sunwell when it comes to fair personal responsibilities. So I think that prog becomes very enjoyable compared to sunwell.

It's just a lot of mechanics for us old dudes to track. Although it is way more fun to improve ones gameplay on week by week basis.
