I found one of those in my apartment mail room, in the trashcan. They have a big plastic trashcan with no lid & It was just sitting there saying " save me from the landfill ". In my complex these are on oversized boxes & they leave the key in your smaller letter box. The lock is key retaining so people won't walk off with it after getting their package. Mine is somewhere on my messy desk.

I was expecting the shutter and cover to be separate from the lock body so that it acts like a spinner. Evidently not.

I literally just bought a cheap tool for a few bucks and had this lock open in about 10 minutes. Never picked a lock before in my life
