I was in a dreadful situation post stroke . Three nurses to stand me up and walk one step ( my respect and admiration for these three ladies . Their strength , their positive attitude , their pushing me on jusr inspires me to this day . Royal Perth Hospital , Western Australia ) my thing was guitar . I love listening to and playing guitar , hello Frank Zappa 😂❤ I could hardly grip , let alone hold onto plectrum . I mashed up the strings when I " hit" them and it broke my heart . When I got home I was alone and I lived in a suicidal depression. No one called . The neglect I suffered from my siblings was horrific . Ultimately a field of red flags . Showed me who they really were . Not people you would like to know . All I had was my guitars, so I sat there day in , day out and just fumbled along . Here I am three years later and I will nor be who I was but I have learnt to play in a different way . I can still play guitar ❤😂 I love your podcasts ❤😂 Thank you so much. ?

@gracetelfer3588 It's so frustrating when insurance stops covering therapy and it's often too expensive to pay out of pocket. I'm so glad that you found my channel and that it has helped you! Thank you for sharing with your doctor! I hope she can recommend it to other survivors who may need help ❤️

Hey, I’m a PT, and my dad has had strokes in the past, and he is bed bound at the moment. So, I’m helping him with his movements, etc. Question: How often would you do physio sessions? And would you split up your days: from upper body movements, to lower body the next day.. any feedback would be appreciated
