To be honest, Shiro doesn't have to accept the puppies. The dad is rarely involved in rearing the puppies when they are born. I just worry about Shiro. He is sometimes clearly stressed.

i think his owners know him well enough to dictate whether or not hes okay to be around the puppies! theres been litters before these little guys. his humans seem to take very good care of him in the other shibas, and im sure they would know if shiro is visibly distressed and/or getting more serious. i also dont think shiro is around the pups unless the owners are around, so i wouldnt worry too much!
