Hmm. I do mine exactly the same though I heat he dish beforehand. Never thought of chopping the grated mixture, sound good. Shredded can be too stringy and cooked mashed potatoes gives you a over soft result. תודה רבה

Why didn’t you mix the eggs before putting it into the potato mixture?
