Potato leek sizzler🍛
Sizzlers are always a favourite among kids.. that sizzling sound, big tikkis, stir fried veggies will keep them excited each & every time when they have their sizzlers 🔥
What's on the sizzler plate🧐
✅Potato patties
✅Potato french fries
✅Garlic pepper leek sauce
✅Corn herb rice
✅Stir fried carrot & beans
Potato patties
🥔Pressure cook 4 Potatoes and peel the skin.
🥔Now add 2 tbsp Chopped onion, salt, 1/2 tbsp pepper powder, coriander leaves, 3/4 tbsp chilly powder, 1 tbsp corn flour and mix well.
🥔Make a big sized tikki & coat with bread crumbs.
🥔Deep fry until it turns Crispy and golden.
Potato french fries
🥔Cut the potatoes in sticks( remove the skin & top and bottom part of potato so you get a rectangle/ square shaped potato which will be easy to get the desired stick like French fries shape)
🥔Soak in water for 20 min to remove the starch
🥔Now add to hot water & rest for 10 min.
🥔Now drain the water & use kitchen towel to remove the moist.
🥔Now deep fry for 2-3 min( oil in medium/low temperature)
🥔Then allow the fries to cool down for 5 min & again deep fry the potatoes until it Crispy on the outside)
🥔Add salt as per your taste.
Herb rice
🔥To a pan add 1/2 tbsp butter, 1/2 tbsp chopped garlic,1 chopped onion & 1&1/2 cup cooked sweet corn & sautee for few minutes.
🔥Now add 1 cup cooked basmati rice, salt, pepper 1&1/2 tbsp and oregano and give a good mix.
Leek sauce
🥬To a pan add 1/4 tbsp butter, chopped garlic 1/4 tbsp, leek chopped 2 tbsp and sautee for few minutes.
🥬Now add 1/2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp soya sauce, 1&1/2 tbsp ketchup, corn flour slurry (1tbsp corn flour+ 1/4 cup water).
Then add pepper 1/2 tbsp, salt & oregano and mix well.
🍛Heat your sizzle plate for 10 min
🍛Add cabbage to the sizzler plate & plate all the prepared items.
🍛Add a tbsp of butter to the hot sizzler plate to get that sizzling effect and serve hot.
