Nope, you're wrong, Ami, I've been eating full on starch for FIVE years Ami and I still need folks like you to keep me motivated! When you live with family that eats sugar, lots of oil, meat, and processed foods, people like you are VERY PRECIOUS to keep us going! Plus I love your personality and sweet family!

Especially since AJ and Dr Lyle stress how important control of Environment is.,"If it's in your house it's in your mouth"...but others live here too. I don't dhop, cook, or eat their food, but it is a struggle.

This is one of your BEST videos Ami! I’ve watched it several times! I loved it when you just sat down & had a nice soul-to-soul chat with us! Love it when you do that! You don’t try to “dress” for a video. Just your everyday lifestyle! Love every idea & plan! Take care🥔🥕🥦🍎🍞

Ami, I’ve been trying to eat this way for so long and I’ve failed. But since watching your videos, you’ve made me realise I was making it far too complicated and that’s why I was failing!! I’m so grateful for all your commitment to helping us folks who don’t have your imagination for meal planning! You are very talented.

🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 I’m a diabetic and doing my best to stay off meds. Unfortunately I have to get my yummy fix by watching you eat sweet potatoes and other potatoes. You do give me inspiration to make veggies in other ways. For your sweet potato chocolate pudding - that would put my blood sugar up too high. I do, however, make chocolate pudding with silken tofu. What a treat!

Hi Ami! One of my favorite topics is when you're talking about paying attention to your hunger/fullness cues. Thank you for taking us along with you on that journey! Was wondering if you might share info on what got you to start paying attention to this and maybe recommend any books or people who influenced you on the topic of hunger/fullness cues? One thing you taught me about this is not using sweeteners and that the sweetness of food can make you crave more food. This would never have occurred to me before you talked about that. Thank you! Looking to learn more about paying attention to things like that.❤

Would absolutely love more advice/strategies! I’ve been vegan for about 3 1/2 years. In the beginning I leaned more toward eating whole foods but life got rather crazy and processed convenience foods found their way into my diet. Trying to turn that around so that I can feel healthier and more fit. Losing the extra weight the vegan junk food brought with it would be a plus as well! Lol😂 Love this channel and began following on instagram as well. Thank you so much for all that you share and for being yourself!

Do you take any supplements? I've been WFPB for a couple years and take a B12 supplement but wondering if you take any other supplements since you've been vegan your whole life I think you said in one of your videos. I made your chocolate cake recipe with the cherries on top and it was great! Thanks for some new and healthy recipes.

Question if you feel comfortable answering: are you ever worried that your rigid eating habits might impact your kids relationship with food in the wrong way (orthorexia)? (I support you eating like this and think your recipe ideas are really cool but I'd worry for children if I had any lol).
@jessicaskok Жыл бұрын
What is wrong with eating beans, vegetables, fruit, potato and rice? If she threw in a steak and soda, would that make the meal less rigid?

Orthoexia is a person that avoids sugar oil, cakes. It won't impact damage the body, people might think your a bit weird but so be it.

Check out Paul Nisan or Shane Sterling. Both are raw vegans and divorced. Their kids eat standard American diet. Very sad. But both men taught their kids and let them choose. It just shows how strong the Pleasure Trap is (strongly encourage reading that book by Alan Goldhammer and Doug Lyle)

@@jessicaskok thank you! And in addition there’s quinoa, seeds (flax, sesame, chia), millet, barley to name just a few. I have no idea what people are talking about when they say ‘rigid’ way of eating. Ami is absolutely the opposite of rigid 😅.
