Potential Gradients

Hi! I really this video! But there's just one part that I don't understand. What do you mean by "The closer the planes of equipotential in the field, the greater the potential gradient in the electric field."?

A new plane of equipotential is only drawn when the potential changes. So the closer the planes, the greater the change in that distance. The change of potential per distance is the potential gradient. Hope this helps.

this would have been so much easier to understand if we were using calculus, I don't know why they try to avoid it
