Thanks for this. I asked one person I used to buy items from about hole size and she had no idea what I was talking about. Also, thanks for quick shipping and having Many products from which to choose. No, I did not get an incentive to write that:)

Excellent information. What about if a seed bead 11/0 is lined or has color instead.?

The hole size will not vary much from the original size. You can always use a bead reamer if you need that extra room

Hi. Thank you so much for this video. I have a question. I am not making jewelry, I am putting tiny gemstone "chips" beads with a 1mm hole onto .5 mm hemp cord onto a decorative item. This has proven difficult because most procedures to get the bead onto the string with either wire or a needle require the cord to be doubled and when I try that it won't fit. Any suggestions? I'd rather not make my string any smaller in my project if I don't have to. Thanks

Hello! Apply a dab of clear polish onto the end of the hemp cord, then run it between your fingers to get the end of the cord to a "needle point" and let it dry. Once it dries, the cord should be able to work as the needle. You can also use a thin clear glue if you don't have clear nail polish.

hi i'm new at this i have 6mm bead and i don't know what size of needle i can use ? and i also have 1mm of nylon cord can you please help me thanks

For the projects here at PotomacBeads we use beading thread with our go-to size is a 10. If your cord is too thick you can always use a big eye needle which will work great as well.

What size holes are 1/0 for seed beads? Are those larger holes too?

What size bead hole can I use for a beaded pen?
@Potomacbeadco3 жыл бұрын
You could use whatever size you would like, size 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads would most likely work the best though!

I’ve enjoyed your sessions about beading, but I have to admit I’m totally lost. You go through a lot of information very quickly and I’m sorry but I can never keep up, previous comment suggests all this info would be good on a sheet. I totally agree with them, just a list of the beads and normally what size the hole is then info on needle size and finally what thread, wire etc is most suitable for using. That would be a lot easier. You could do a sheet for each subject you cover on these videos, I’d pay for that too.
