Digitals are so new to me, I’m a traditional paper crafter, that anytime you can educate me Gayle, it’s a good thing! Thank you. Love the bunny journal, I’m a chicken person so this single animal themed journal is inspiring me to make a poultry book! 🐇🐓🐇🐓

WOW Gayle.! From the paper shelves, fabulous quilt, BOHO beads, MS punch, and great rubber stamps, I was totally in awe. I cannot believe you came out with those few rubber stamps considering she had eight drawers FULL. It looked as though none of those were used. Your bunny journal is so cute. Great fun to watch. TFS

Omgoodness what a great find at the estate sale!!! I love going to estate sales, garage sales and thrift stores... I find a lot of goodies at those places. What a wonderful way to get what you want with a private shopping at an estate sale, that’s a good friend to let you do that. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when you said fuddy cutting...you tickle me so much. Oh when you added the ink around that little bunny it looked green like he was surrounded by grass. I don’t know if it looked green in person but that’s how it looked on my screen. I really liked how it outlined the bunny. I’m so in love with this journal, it’s turning out soooo beautiful and grungy. You have a lot of amazing crafting supplies. I hope one day I will have an amazing supply as well. Hugs from Texas

I really wish we had estate sales here in the UK, you found some amazing things, your journal looks fantastic, I haven't got a craft room anymore, my grandson is now using it as his room for now, my daughter had to move back in with us, so the things we do for family,
@BeccaBullard85 жыл бұрын
If you don’t have EstateSales in the UK, what happens to all the stuff when someone passes away? Oh I definitely been in your shoes...yrs ago my daughter moved home with my little grandson so I had to pack up my craft room to make room for them to move back home. But you know I loved every moment that they lived with me. My grandson and I became very close during that time because I watched him while my daughter went to college. He’s 17 now but he’s still my baby and he tells everyone he’s my baby 😊. Hugs from Texas

@@BeccaBullard8 the family take most of the things & what they don't want it goes into the bin, or sold to antique stores if it's worth anything, my grandson & daughter moved out last year with her new partner but things didn't work out & now she is back home, & she is expecting my 2nd grandchild in march, he has told her he'll move out when he finds somewhere, but can't see him doing it as he's in a perfectly good home
@BeccaBullard85 жыл бұрын
Helen Evans since there isn’t a business over there that does estate sales, it would be a great place to start a business offering that service to families who are grieving. The family would get what they want out of the home and then not have to worry about anything else, because the company would take care of everything. I know when my grandmother passed away my Aunt hired a company to take care of what was left and it made it so much easier for our family. I'm sorry for the hard time your daughter is going through especially now being pregnant. It must be just awful for her. Thank goodness she has you to turn to. I wish her the best and pray everything will work out for her, your grandson and the baby. Also congratulations to both your daughter and you for the precious baby on the way. I have 6 grandbabies now and I feel so blessed to be a Nana. Well, I need to get to bed because we are celebrating my granddaughter’s 6th birthday tomorrow. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs from Texas

Wooooow I just adore the stuff you got at the estate sale, I love estate sales too!! The last one I went was at the home of a reclusive seamstress, she was A very successful seamstress so there were her hate that she made, and the sketches of some hats and then the published patterns for the hats so I was able to see the whole process which was so special. And being in her house was like stepping back to 1950. She hadn't bought changed the house or the decor inside so it was really like a time capsule of a house, what a trip! And she saved all her old magazines from the 60'e and 70s as well as a ton of ephemera from that time and hand written papers so I grabbed those for junk journals. Thank you so much for sharing your buys, have a great day

Sabrina and Benji oh how exciting!
@sabrinaandbenji13905 жыл бұрын
@@vickirn613 ya it was a unique experience in itself, aside from the the fact that we were able to buy whatever we wanted to, the ladies stuff was basically in the same places she left it and then people could walk around the house and just pick out whatever they wanted to buy. It was my 1st estate sale so I'm not sure if all estate sales operate that way or if they sell the stuff from a different location than the original house but it was definitely such a cool experience. Have a good day

You can also make modeling paste with the baby powder. The one Provo Craft scissor is called deckle edge. On the subject of animals in the yard. We are in the city yet we have squirrels (all mixed colors), bunnies, hedge hog, ducks etc it's just unreal. Not sure why we are so blessed but they are entertaining ( when they're not destroying stuff like the cushions on our lawn chairs - we had to buy a new set as the squirrels kept digging in the seam area where they fold to go up the back because they wanted to bury their nuts, we have black walnuts trees out back). Okay enough of my rambling. Oh I did forget to comment on the pictures of Bucky. What a little doll he is. Glad you'll have more time with him when they come in vs you going there.
