This is the official clips channel for Hashtag United, the one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League Premier Division. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 22/23 we won the Isthmian League North title after going on a run of 21 straight league wins. We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after we won the league in 22/23. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, as well as an inclusive and walking football setup. Subscribe on KZbin for our latest football content (and watch our journey so far), and follow our social channels for the latest club updates.

Those calling for Devs' head need to give their own head's a wobble. Hashtag were top of the form charts only weeks ago, a blip is inevitable. He's a man who has understood what the club meant from the very first game. He has taken 'the youtube team' very seriously and has demanded his players hold a standard of excellence and effort from the very first game. Most importantly, he clearly knows how to win games. The sheer complacency and nonchalance from Halford was honestly vile to watch. Like it doesn't matter to him. People can criticise AT all they want (some of it is warranted), but you can't say he doesn't try his best for the team. Halford meanwhile gave a disgustingly low amount of effort.

@ragazzoitaliano5478 I'm not really sure what a manager can do about players not having the desire to challenge for long balls or missing simple passes. Pep could've been in charge and that doesn't change. There's also a guy in the French top league who spent his life playing football manager so that kinda disproves it aswell

This “crisis” is inevitable as they have done so well so far there has to come a point where you find your level as soencer has said on his podcast there’s teams in this division paying big money so it’s easy to lose 3-4 games in spin! I’ll be completely honest, Greg Halford has played in the Prem has given him some weird ego. I’ve never thought he was that good. Doesn’t reach Haysom to his knees man. Devs is a good manager from what we’re shown. Can’t fault him for people not working hard, as far as I’m concerned. There are a lot of lazy people in the squad at the moment unfortunately. Max Cornhill has been great, but you can’t keep performing when u reach his age.. He will play good some games and bad some games. I feel like Cornish is rated very highly and rightfully so. But I do believe it’d be nice with a bit of extra height for the league we’re currently in. We need a really good goalkeeper again. And as much as I love to watch AT. I just don’t think he’s good enough against these goalkeepers at this level. I also don’t think we’ve got a proper option on the right. Toby Aromolaran obviously works hard, but there’s a reason he was playing with the reserves for a while. We need a new right attacking midfielder, Restrepo really ain’t it. Pedro is our best attacker, followed by Djemaili. PK class Harry class Matty class when dominating possession Tom is good despite his lack of height. Nathan Smith is class, just needs an st to aim for that will score.

Misha's been good I thought, has had games when he makes the game look easy, but has had games where he does seem a passenger. Restrepo has found it hard to settle tho it seems. Had a great game a few weeks back, so I see the quality that's there, but it just needs to be shown more consistently.

@@jackmclay5057 He's looked great as a CAM with Luke up front, they work so well together, but Devs hasn't played them together in weeks. He needs to put someone else in with AT up front because Mesha and AT just do not look compatible. @@Providenza I agree. Mesha, Sak, Pedro (or Toby) have been our best attacking midfield 3, with Luke up top have been great. There must be reasons why they haven't played together as consistently (Sak obv has international duty). AT honestly looks to be going through a rough patch. We've seen what he can do. There are times when clutch's games and is clinical, but recently he's been getting the chances with but sending them wide or over time and again. I don't know if its a compatibility issue or just a form issue because he IS getting the chances.

I mean, that was kind of a given considering Ted Curd is literally going to play Prem football very soon, so you've kinda got to lower your expectations. And then for this match, you had to lower them again considering that this is the first time he's played with these two CBs, and indeed the first time these two CBs have played together, so we were always going to be vulnerable. Sure, he's never going to be as good as Ted, no-one should expect him to be, but give him a few games and Haysom + Tommo at CB, and he'll show you how good he can be.
