Another, most helpful propagation video from you! You are definitely a favorite succulent vlogger for me. I have learned so much from watching your channel over the past few years. I still have a long way to go but teachers like you make the journey so much less frustrating! Growing succulent babies is a trial of patience for sure. And, watching your vlogs reminds me that the wait and gentle touch we need to give them is worth it. If I don't end up with a successful prop, then at least I have the opportunity to learn a valuable lesson in the process of "failing". Thank you for sharing your garden gifts with us! (PS... You remind me so much of an Andrea that I went to school with on Long Island, in NY. We were neighbors for a short while and I wonder about her from time to time. )

Perfect timing Andrea! I use the winter solstice as my birthing point - I'll pot up succulent leaves, repot my bonsai and start increasing the light on my growlights. By Imbolc (Feb 2nd) I'm in full-on growth mode. Also this year, on Dec 21st we have 'The Great Conjunction' between Jupiter and Saturn.....first time they've been so close in 800 years (1226ad), so its especially auspicious for our sucs who know so much more about the universe than we ever could! Keep growing Andrea...

I love your channel. propagation has been difficult for me . not a lot of success. Until I got a tip to place my tray in a plastic zilch bag and mist it every 2 days. Lease it a little one and place it where it can a little light. The best results I've ever had.

If I have lots of succulent leaves, broke off, what’s the best way to plant them or let them grow so they regrow new ones. I see here you laid them flat. How about it I insert them into soil upright? New to planting succulents

@@marcelbernard158 Good news then lol! Your climate is much less humid than mine, and it's probably a lot easier for you to source pumice locally there. Look at what the local nurseries are using for a soil mix and ask them for drainage materials (in bulk if you necessary) and I'm sure you'll get a better deal that I would here in Houston 🙏

Sorry for the late reply! Texas has been dealing with a brutal winter storm. For the most part, yes but Pearls propagate better by cuttings (never had luck w/ the pearl itself producing new growth)
