Brent had a dream about a mother who lost her child. But yes without the video it can be interpreted many ways. If you look at the video again the boy hands her a locket of her with a baby and the end she drops the rose on a grave.

I discovered Shinedown with this song and it’s also my favorite

Love this song, but if you want to hear (and see) Shinedown at their most violent (and awesome), you need to check out "Enemies". Or at their most stripped-down and mellow (and still intensely emotional), "Call Me" is amazing.

What a great great band. Brent is simply one of the greatest voices of this generation

Love them I have the crow & Butterflys on my SD tattoo representing SOM album. I'm seeing them tomorrow PA Music Fest can't wait!! This was a dream Brent had it was very vivid & he believes the boy passed away & wanted his mother to know he was ok.

Love his voice. I think my favorite by Shinedown is If You Only Knew., but they have several good ones.

I love Shinedown❤I took my 3yr old great granddaughter to see them 7/18. We were front row. Great concert they were waving 👋 at her. Before it was over she fell asleep 💤 & so did Zach’s son on stage. We woke her up to hear her favorite song “Cut the Cord”. I have the video of it. Seeing them again in September. 💯🔥🔥

I think Second Chance is off this same album. That's one of my favorites from Shinedown.

I’ve not seen the video in years, but I was looking at the kid and was like i recognise him, then realised it’s Dylan Minette, who was the main guy in the show 13 reasons why 😮😊

Have watched and listened to The Jeff Healey Band performing Angel Eyes, it always amazes me how people with disablities can sing and play, awesome song too about his life and wife

Aren't you guys from Canada? I mean you said you didn't know who Rush was that's a lie or you don't even know music period! If you know music Shinedown has 19 #1 songs on the rock charts more than any other band on rock charts! That says enough!!!

Not a fan. No hooks. No umph to it. I'll pass on this one.

I do like Shinedown by this band though. That one is a pretty good jam. I grew up in the 80s and early 90s. I don't listen to much else outside of that era of music. Surprised I didn't like this one.
