the company I work for caries a similar product based on steel slag, looks just as wet and flows in a similar way, always fun to do as a driver. the pumpcompany has Putzmeister 1005 trailer mounted pumps.

That’s a machine which has been on my wish list for several years now. Those VSP’s are an absolute bargain factoring in what it actually cost us to build this particular rig.

Drill motor and a paint mixer will make your bentonite smooth as butter. Works really well for me.

Absolutely! We’ve got a “mixing station” back at the yard where some of the guys do exactly what you mention prior to heading out on the road for the day.

I love bentonite super slick for my primer I'll fill a bucket the night before with water and slick let it fell up for the morning it's like snot .I hate plugging on my prime out first thing

@@martymello8772 Agreed. Bentonite is in my opinion the most effective and user friendly priming agent (it also just so happens to be one of the least expensive). Just critical to make certain that first bit of contaminated mud out the end of the hose doesn't finds its way into the pour area.

SCC, shotcrete, 10mm round rock architectural, 14mm blend mix, we all pump through 2” diameter line. We have a 3/4” blend mix which will pump through 2.5” diameter line. 3/4” and most of the 14mm commercial mixes we use 3” diameter line.

I know I know this is an old video but how come on the self-leveling concrete with the heating tubes underneath it you guys can't travel it even though it gets tile on it is it because the tile needs a rough surface to grab to

I have seen several videos and shows on the self leveling floors. Are there any additives in the mix e.g. fiberglass to help with shrinkage?

I believe they sometimes use cellulose/microfibres. That’s the problem with these mixes, they inherently crack to shit. Typically not a big deal if covering with carpet/tile, but you still can’t beat good old hand placed/finished concrete in terms of flatness and overall durability.

They do also use a significant amount of retardant in some of these mixes to slow down the curing process and ultimately alleviate shrinkage cranking.

Or mix has a lot of mid range water reducer, poly fibers, 2 delay admixture and on-site super plasticizer the fibers do help with shrinkage as do the plasticizer and mid range water reducer

the tk 60 HP has a performance of 60 yards with 1450 psi output it is a team with a piston side configuration a 130 hp Cummins engine with 48 cycles per minute the engine always has to be at 2200 rpm in operation, at the moment the tk 70 is a 70 yard team with an output of 78 bars of configuration output per connecting rod side 100 hp engine the tier 4 final with Cummins QFS engine, 3.8 the tier 3 come with a deuz TCD2012L04 engine blessings atte el pump chapo the thom katt series is for 5 industries and 20 applications in colombia we use this equipment to pump concrete on my channel there is a video of the tk 40 pumping at 370 feet high

Our policy cy is it's not our concrete it's our pump and I need to clean out my pump on site because it's your concrete never do we take it with us .they need to provide proper clean out spot or I will find my own spot .it's a good policy

With all the environmental regulations in our area, it's becoming more and more difficult to washout on site. Fortunately all of our pump units are truck mounted, so we just keep the hopper low, dope it with sugar, and washout back at the ready mix plant. Thank you for watching the channel brother.

These SCC mixes are deceiving. Even though the slump is extremely high, it is done so with the usage of chemical, which reacted very differently when linked through rubber line in comparison to a conventional mix which has been pumped with water.

No bueno around here. Most, if not all ready mix suppliers will not allow line-pumping back into the mixer.
