Yessir. Personal success for me is fulfillment and satisfaction. Which becomes my happiness. Small time concrete guy outta Rhode Island and business is booming this year. Only laying down 20yrds a month on eclectic dways and patios but couldn’t be happier. I was a high flying mech engineer building million dollar machines. But a few yrs ago I was burnt. Bought a skiddy one year and a mini x the next. Then went back to my roots (concreting)as the final hoo’rah. Geez, a pump would sure be nice:-)!

Anthony as a retired mason contractor I agree with 95% of what you say and do. Enjoy the beach , the kids , the family because things can change in the blink of an eye and nothing goes back to the way it was. The simplest things in life are the most precious and there is no dollar figure you can put on it. A good afternoon just hanging out enjoying what you like is priceless.! So the only advice I have for you today now that your work day is over and it's about 12 noon isBuy lunch, go to the beach with your girls and surf. Don't flash the "Benjamins" you never know "big brother" may be watching and it's easier to grab the little guy than a big corporation.

I think everyone in the construction business has lost big money at some point. We’ve had some horrendous losses especially on big jobs with bad owners, the ones like UCLA and LA County . They don’t let you make a profit and they don’t want to pay for additional work or differing site conditions. I’m curious Anthony what’s the going daily rate for cash finishers and laborers in the OC . Thanks.
