POV Cruise To A Washington Lake // Triumph Speed Twin [4K]

FREE ROAM: No Talking. Just Riding.
Today we take Sasha, the Triumph Speed Twin along the twisty N Lake Cushman Road to Lake Cushman just outside Olympic National Park. After some tight turns and slow cars, the trees part to reveal the unbelievable, but somehow cliche Washington Lake Cushman and it's surrounding mountains. We follow the winding road to a gravel road that follows the lake shore until we hit a short stretch of pavement that leads to an Olympic National Park Ranger Station and entrance gate. The end of the road and another mediocre adventure in the books.

How are you liking the Speed Twin? I was looking at this and a XSR900. What’s your opinion on the thought?

I've never ridden a XSR, but I can say I'm head over heals in love with the Speed Twin. I think the XSRs look really cool, but from everything I've read and heard, the build quality and quality of materials leaves a lot to be desired. With Triumph, you are paying a premium for a premium product. But that's not to say that the XSRs are not good bikes. If you want a cool modern retro that will run forever and not kill your credit score, go see how much you like the XSR. It has more power and more perceived reliability. It's designed with more of a spirited rider in mind. It's a MT09 with a different body kit. If you are okay with paying a premium, the fit and finish of a Triumph is unrivaled, and the sound of that parallel twin is something to behold. It's a head turner.
