Now THAT is a good looking supercar! I find a lot of the sports cars/supercars today are just getting too overly complicated with their lines and styling. This is gorgeous. Looks modern, but still related to the MC12.

I waited so long for this, finally it's here. Such a great supercar, looks the part. The engine is magnificent, but I reckon the gearbox is a bit to tall, brilliant for top speed. Can't wait to see the new moods by Novitec.

I reckon it's to deal with the monster torque curve. The F02 M3/4 had gears that were perfect for an N/A car, but terrible for a turbo car, and it infamously suffered from horrendous snap oversteer when the turbos kicked in. The MC20 looks a lot more tractable and precise than some of the other manic turbo supercars (cough, cough, McLaren).

Small detail, but I really like that the speedometer shows every km/h when accelerating, instead jumping through the speed like some other sportscars do (they go like 50-->56-->64-->etc. instead of 51-->52-->53-->....-->64-->etc.)

Great video, can't wait to see what you guys are going to do with the exhaust. On another note. As a Dutchman, I have to compliment the Germans on how composed they are whenever there is a speedlimit. It's like you don't take for granted, the fact that you have the liberty to go as fast as the car (and your balls) takes you whenever it's allowed, and in return you abide the speedlimits. This is from my own experiences driving on the autobahn. (I live very near to our friendly neighbours)

Well, most of the time people still drive 20-30kph faster than the speedlimit, as it should be. I for example want to drive as fast as i want, not how fast other people want me to drive, when its safe to do so

@@azeQify I have to disagree on that one. First i don´t count the GT3 RS because its a N/A engine and i want to compare similar engines. Second: When i compare this 3.0l Turbo with the 3.7l Turbo S or any other Porsche with an 3.0l Turbo engine i can hear a clear winner. At least that is my opinion.

Für mich einer der schönsten Sportwagen die man aktuell für Geld kaufen kann. Und ich könnte mir sogar vorstellen, dass man mit den entsprechenden Ladern am Ende sogar eine 7 schaffen könnte. Was dann in einem Bereich wäre von einem McLaren 720 S. Und typisch Maserati wurde wieder einmal Rennsporttechnik verbaut, die mit sehr viel Alltagstauglichkeit verbunden wurde. Was cool wäre, wenn man im Innenraum die Lader hören könnte. Das Zischen. Würde über den etwas verhaltenen Auspuff hinweg trösten. Ich finde es gut, dass der nicht mehr so laut ist. Das ist zwar toll, doch einfach aus der Zeit gefallen und deutlich langstreckentauglicher als früher. Ein V6 geht einem nie auf die Nerven.
